The NYPD arrested a woman accused of striking a medical student NYC subway cellist unprovoked in the back of the head with his metal water bottle while he performed. Iain Forrest was playing his electric cello earlier this month at the 34th Street Herald Square Station in Manhattan when he was randomly attacked. Police arrested Amira Hunter, 23, of Brooklyn, on Wednesday night and charged her with assault. There's still no word on a possible motive for the attack.

#2 Jesus are you that stupid that you cannot understand someone trying to cram a headline in under Rogers 60 character limit? I mean for chrissakes all you had to do was open the thread.

" Jesus are you that stupid that you cannot understand someone trying to cram ... in ... Rogers ...? "

That's never a good idea.

Too much extraneous info being crammed into the headline. Given that it's a recent story, "Police arrest woman who attacked subway cellist" would have sufficed in giving readers the gist, and even left enough space to mention the race of one or both of them, if you wanted to draw attention to that. Did people really need to be reminded that he was a med student or that the object was a metal bottle in the headline?

And then people wonder why this site had to hire editors to change the headlines. Sheesh.

What's the point of this thread?

Someone hit someone else in the head and then got charged for doing it.

And then what?

It sounds like something that probably just happened somewhere in the US during the time it took me to type this, but this is the 2nd thread here about it?

What am I missing?
