True, some tributaries are extinct. The unexplored labyrinth is flooded and sinking beneath the sand, for instance.

The very earliest part of the great pyramid is a chamber formed by that underground river, connecting throughout the device.

What some consider "mystery solved" regarding Giza and pyramid purposes I'd disregard, this river flotation theory has yet to be replicated.
