Today's YouGov/CBS Poll:

Should Biden stay in the race? YES, 55%-45%

Should TRUMP stay in the race?
NO, 54-46%

The people have spoken. Putin's bitch needs to go.

Democrats and their TDS obsession troll about Trump. Sadly they lose credibility when they fail to criticize or discuss Biden. DNC is now left behind while nation catches up.

lol.... a Trumper talking about "credibility" when their candidate can't open his mouth without lying.

Pathological liars:

"Almost everyone lies occasionally, but for a small percentage of people, lying isn't something that they do every once in a while"it's a way of life.

Drew Curtis, PhD, of Angelo State University, and Christian L. Hart, PhD, of Texas Woman's University, authors of a new book on pathological lying, talk about what drives "big liars" to lie, why they believe pathological lying should be classified as a mental health disorder, whether liars really are more prevalent in some professions, such as politics and sales, and how you can recognize lies and protect yourself from being duped."

Trumps fans are starting to realize he lied during the debate about abortion (twice), Pelosi, not having sex with Daniels, illegal immigration housing, and his accomplishments while in office.

And these lies were obvious.

More from the cited article...

... Now, the Inquirer, founded in 1829, has done just that.

The piece, called, "To serve his country, Donald Trump should leave the race," mirrors the language of the Times' Biden article.

"Biden had a horrible night Thursday. But the debate about the debate is misplaced. The only person who should withdraw from the race is Trump," the Inquirer argued on Saturday.

The piece notes that, "lost in the hand wringing was Donald Trump's usual bombastic litany of lies, hyperbole, bigotry, ignorance, and fear mongering."

"His performance demonstrated once again that he is a danger to democracy and unfit for office," the article states. "Trump, 78, has been on the political stage for eight years marked by chaos, corruption, and incivility. Why go back to that?" ...

@!0 ... "His performance demonstrated once again that he is a danger to democracy and unfit for office," ...

Well, yeah.

If you try to rise above the party vs Country debate, the choice is clear.

But, will the GOP ever rise to that occasion?

Obviously we have a bunch of GOP cross over voters wanting Biden to stay in the election because he is easy to beat. Unfortunately, for the good of the country, this is awful.

The reality is that Biden should face the 25th amendment and step down NOW leaving us with the frightening thought of Kamala Harris as the president for the remainder of the term. As scary as that is, at least she seems fully sentient and Joe IS NOT - and it is not about how he will be in 4 years from now, it is how he is RIGHT NOW.

I suspect we will see Trump open up a +3%-5% national lead within a week of the debates and Joe will ultimately be forced to drop his run but the Dems will keep him installed as the acting president just to deny Kamala the ability to run as an incumbent POTUS as they know she cannot win. But, this begs the questions: what unelected person is actually running the government now because it clearly ain't Pedophile Joe Biden.

@#12 ... The reality is that Biden should face the 25th amendment and step down NOW ...

In your reality, what is the justification for that?

... I suspect we will see Trump open up a +3%-5% national lead within a week ...

So, still mostly within the margin of error of the polls.

Dems need to carry the national polls by +3-4% to win an election. If Trump is +3% a week from now, it is effectively a 6-7% lead in the election. However, I suspect the swing states are looking even worse than that for the Dems - both Minnesota and New Jersey are in play now and Dems have written off FL as a swing state altogether.

Really?

That 3-4% is usually within the margin of error for polls.

If the Dems want to win, to the point it is likely assured by the Electoral College, my view is that they need a 10% margin in the general election pools.

I think they can win by 1-2% and it will be accepted by all so long as Joe Biden does not increase his vote total from the 81m last election - NO ONE believes that is possible and half the country does not believe that he even had 81m legitimate votes last time. My bet, assuming it is Biden, he will get ~72M votes which is ~5% higher than Obama got in 2008 and basically win/slightly lose the popular vote. I see Trump winning basically all of the toss up states so it is more or less an election landslide from the perspective of EV. If the participation rate is 66% or higher, it is a sure sign that the election is rigged - no way participation increases from 2020.

It may well be more than that. The EC is heavily skewed to "Cow Proximity".

It would be great to see an open convention in both parties. I have no idea who the Reps would nominate. The Dems are basically stuck with heels up.
