U.S. Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle resigned amid outrage over her agency's failure to prevent the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at a campaign rally.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we find out the whole thing was staged. Until then...she should have resigned sooner.

By resigning, D/USSS removed herself as a bullseye and GOP talking point from now until November.

The fact of a "woman/DEI appointment" being head makes my local MAGA people crazy now that the Master has been shot. Too small to protect don't you know. Now that Joe is out of the Presidential race (he appointed her)it is making them crazy as all their talking points start to evaporate. Oh well.
