Israeli airstrikes hit an apartment building in the Lebanese village of Aito, as well as a camp in a Gaza hospital courtyard that went up in flames, burning people alive.

I guess this sort of thing is a good reason for the Palestinians not to instigate a war by raping and slaughtering 1,400 Israeli civilian men, women, and children in cold blood a year ago or for the Lebanese (who had no dog in the fight) to fire 8,000 rockets at them for that year.

This IDF attack, like the others, are part of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu's "special military operation," like Russian President Vladimir Putin's "limited ground offensive." The euphemisms are inter-changeable.

Palestinian casualties since Oct 2023 = 42,227 (half are women and children); injured = 98,464.

The Likud Party promised another Nakba and the IDF certainly delivered. As someone else posted: The Democrats sacrificed the US for Israel.

Take those with a grain of salt. They are being reported by Hamas. Hamas has been caught multiple times inflating the numbers killed in an attack by magnitudes. Last I knew it was more like 2/3 were women and children.

That is not to say what Israel is doing is right - I do not condone the way they are fighting. However, the fact is casualties (especially women and children) may be 1/2 to 1/4 of what is reported.

That's a loaded "may." Care to back that '1/2 to 1/4' up with a non-Israeli source?

I agree the Gaza Health Ministry numbers likely aren't exact but they do have all those dead bodies to count and get a fairly accurate number. The ones still identifiable as human beings after the Israeli bombs do their work at least.
