The link below will take you to the unredacted indictment that Maricopa County, AZ issued.
18 names are on this True Bill; some you will recognize. The ex-Dotard-in-Chief is Unindicted Coconspirator 1. One of those 18 conspirators is now cooperating with the AZ AG.

Thanks for that link, Coriolanus. The flip means we've entered the peanuts-and-popcorn phase for court watchers. Train's getting ready to chug out of the station. If you're getting on, get on now. All aboard!

Morning Doc!

You're welcome. Wouldn't it be something if Arizona took down the orange ---------- between this case and Mark Kelly? One of #45's greatest enemies would approve: The late Sen. John McCain

All aboard!

Additional info on those indicted, including the unidentified flipper:

Those indicted for being fake electors in the scheme are:

Arizona Sen. Jake Hoffman, leader of the Arizona Freedom Caucus
Arizona Sen. Anthony Kern, member of the Arizona Freedom Caucus

The indictments also included other people who worked for the Trump campaign or alongside it to facilitate the fake electors' work:

Mark Meadows, who was Trump's chief of staff in 2020
Christina Bobb, the Republican National Committee's senior counsel for election integrity and a former attorney for the Trump campaign who was accused in the indictment of making "false claims of widespread election fraud in Arizona and in six other states."
John Eastman, a former Trump lawyer who is facing possible disbarment in California for his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election.
Boris Epshteyn, a former Trump aide who is still one of the former president's advisors.

Thanks for doing this Doc. Perhaps Arizona contributors to the DR have a sense for who the informant might be out of the first eleven names on the indictment.

We still won't know the name of the first flipper. But we do know that he/she who flips first, gets the best deal.

I imagine there will be a rush now for everyone to save themselves, even if it means fingering Trump as the instigator and perpetrator of the fake electors scheme

So . . who among this motley crew is the most desperate for a get-out-of-jail-free card for blabbing on Trump?

I'm looking at Eastman. But then, I'll admit that I'm prejudiced because I want to see Ginni and Clarence Thomas dragged into this fray as part of the DOJ's special Counsel investigation of the U.S. Supreme Court.

i think that attempts to stral elections in such a deeitful way should have ssevere consequences at least as severe as big financial frauds that result in very rich people losing money; I've never felt comfortable with the very long prison sentences for non-violent financial crimes committed against very rich people who experience very little pain but stealing elections can have huge consequences for millions of people; especially if the theft is to benefit Donald Trump, a/k/a Putin's Puppet!

@#8 ... We still won't know the name of the first flipper. But we do know that he/she who flips first, gets the best deal. ...

Yup, An astute observation. Thank-you for that.

But I have to ask, is the seeming Lying-Wall-of-Trump cult adulation starting to crumble?

Could it be that more and more people have been coming to the realization that the GOP's former emphasis upon Law and Order now has a meaning, especially now that the Democrats has owned that Law & Order assertion after the GOP looks to have abandoned it?

Or is it just continuing to crumple as more defendants realize the apparent errors in their prior ways?

DANNI

Trump has a whole new scheme to steal the 2024. No more fake electors. This time he's going straight to the election officials in swing states Biden won to coerce/threaten or otherwise (we KNOW where you live) convince them to outright refuse to certify a win for Kamala Harris. That means that state that Harris won will forfeit its electoral college vote.

Trump is so sure his new plan is foolproof that he's admitting publicly that he doesn't need anybody's vote. This time he thinks he's got it in the bag.

"But I have to ask, is the seeming Lying-Wall-of-Trump cult adulation starting to crumble?"

Well, we do know that there's been a crack in the dam and cracks don't have a history of getting smaller.

And I'm assuming that some, if not most, of these people don't have the funds to withstand months of trials where they have to testify against each other. And they'd be fools not to notice Trump's sudden change of election fate.

So yeah, I'd say that "crumble" is the right word.

While 'election fate" is imo too soon to tell.

That aside, I do not disagree.

I'm still hoping it's Eastman because he's the one who claimed to have a member of the U.S. Supreme Court on speed dial. Which we now know was Clarence Thomas vis-a-vis his wife Ginni.

But it could be anybody, maybe somebody who is just worried about his family and so forth and so on.

Agreed. But fear is a great motivator. And who wants to wait until the last minute to find out.

Speaking personally, I do.

The results of Election Day are all that matter.

imo, everything leading up to that is little more than trends, with some peculiarities.

Not me. I wouldn't have any faith in Trump even if he does win the election. He's the one who trapped these people in this predicament in the first place. He'd call them suckers.

Given a choice, I'd pick a soft landing any day of the week.

Oh, I agree.

100%.

Way back in 2016 I warned about then candidate Trump.

Why?

Well, I am in the NYC media area. So I have been aware of private citizen Trump for a while. I'll say, since the 1990s possibly earlier.

Long story short, I have always viewed him as a self-absorbent person.

I mean, there are things like this...

Trump sure of presidential win _ in 1996

And this...

Donald Trump 2000 presidential campaign
en.wikipedia.org

Indeed, in the summer of 2016, on this most august site, I warned the GOP voters of what they were getting themselves into.

Now the GOP has to face what they enabled.

And it does not look good for the Country and the rule of the Constitution.

POTUS will still be Joe Biden and he has SCOTUS' approval to collude with DOJ. I could see Dark Brandon telling DOJ to investigate and jail those election deniers, along with anybody in Dotard's campaign who is complicit. He could also delay the transfer of power until after cases came to fruition. He could call this an insurrection whick would give him even more powers. If SCOTUS intervenes, they too could be jailed. I do not think that Dark Brandon allows Dotard to take an election that he does not win honestly. It is another reason his stepping aside was genius, because it will not come across as him being a sore loser. The Dems have been gaming this out since 2020, they know whats going on, and have their plans to counteract the new coup that Dotard is trying.
