Ahead of his announced press conference at his Mar-a-Lago country club home on Thursday, Trump reposted a a meme depicting his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris, with darkened skin and with the body of a dung beetle on a coconut.

Any other presidential candidate's press conference has microphones so the public could hear the press' questions, not just him blather on with one lie after another.

I had to stop listening because I thought my ears would start bleeding from the rambling lies he stated.

What concerns me now is that fmr Pres Trump may actually consider that dumpster fire of a "press conference" to be a success.

And, as a follow-up, why has the Trump campaign been so silent about that disaster?

Are we seeing a divergence of fmr Pres Trump and his campaign?

Trump's folks PLANNED by not having microphones for the reporters so no one could hear their questions or follow ups. Only Trump.

He was afraid.

Now, why wasn't there the usual scrum with reporters vying for attention to get their questions answered? Did the campaign threaten to freeze out reporters unless they kept silent until called on? I think so ...
