When dozens tell you that you are wrong, and very publicly, you apologize. Not Trump, he will double down in one, two, three.

Cadet Bone Spurs doubled down today with a reporterin PA. This quote from Kelly is money, especially the last few words, "earned, not won, by incredibly brave actions on the battlefield under fire typically by very young men who joined when others did not to defend their country." A shot straight to the clogged arteries of Dotard. I don't understand why this isn't a bigger story, where is the MSM asking when the convicted felon who hates the troops is going to quit the race?

Because they have their orders to NOT report on it.

This should be plastered all over the airwaves 24/7.

Along with his dementia addled word salad speeches, forgetting what city and state he is in, slurring words, lying about Willie Brown, etc.

The double standard in the media is huge and apparent whether it be that they cannot call out the melon felon because of the vast volume of garbage, lies, made up stores "with tears in their eyes", etc. The melon felon set the bar for himself extremely low and he keeps digging the hole deeper.

If Trump's campaign falls apart completely, the Media companies could lose literally billions of dollars in ad revenue... so they aren't about to let that happen.

Which, of course, is the problem with things like news/information being commercialized to the point of being useless to the People.

I don't think so at all because his fall would be one of the biggest news stories in recent history. The Monday morning quarterbacking would last far longer than the election itself, filling hours and weeks of both airtime and printed pages.

And - as we've seen with Harris replacing Biden - whomever is chosen to replace Trump would also become a huge story as well since we can almost be certain it wouldn't be Vance.

The only thing the media doesn't profit from is a boring stasis. They keep the ish stirring because that's where the money is.

Actually I heard an interesting take on the beltway press. They are conservative, not so much politically but in the way they cover elections. They are trying to cover Trump the way they covered Mitt, Bush, HW, etc, as opposed covering him as the existential threat he is to democracy. Why do they never mention the 34 felony convictions, the Jan 6 insurrection, the Kelly comments, etc. People use media much differently than they used to. A lot of voters are just tuning in now, and are not aware of outcome of the trial, the impeachment and federal indictments over Jan 6, the sick and gross comments that Dotard had made about veterans need to be mentioned everytime Dotard is talked about.

That's a good take. It's not just the beltway press though. It's the NYT, too. Pathetic they haven't figured it out yet. Their readers are screaming at them to get their shht together. They're arrogantly ignoring what's in plain sight, though.
