"At minimum, these novel requirements introduce substantial uncertainty in the post-election process and"if interpreted as their drafters have suggested"invite chaos by establishing new processes at odds with existing statutory duties," the plaintiffs said."

What the Board tries to do here is to allow Election officials to become professional election investigators, "Billy Bob Trumper, Private Investigator", potentially delaying the Certification of Ballots and changing the the totals of Ballots counted... based on all the same kind of complete nonsense that Rudy G's millions of dollars worth of phony investigations came up with and was laughed out of Courts across the country.

Good.

So many cases involving fmr Pres Trump and elections has been tossed out by the Courts, many by Judges appointed by fmr Pres trump..

How will Georgia fare in this case?

Apparently this self-appointed "Board" is in violation of Georgia State Election Laws and therefore has no authority make new "rules".

"pit bulls fighting for honesty, transparency and victory."

Uh huh.

There's a lot of pushback from the county level over not just one rule, but dozens of rules that would cause chaos and delay in the certification of the 2024 election. The DNC has filed their own lawsuit and Governor Kemp is seeking advice from his own A.G. if the Governor has the authority to disband this "Board." Some legal authorities say "yes, he does" but the Governor wants the backup of the Attorney General before he takes action.

@#4 ... Apparently this self-appointed "Board" is in violation of Georgia State Election Laws and therefore has no authority make new "rules". ...

If that is the case, then the Board would be able to delay the election results while the "violation" case makes it's way through the courts.

Isn't that what fmr Pres Trump wants in our elections?

Uncertainty?

OK, allow me to state this differently...

Why do fmr Pres Trump and his MAGA cult members not seem to want elections progress appropriately?

Is fmr Pres Trump so afraid of a valid outcome that he sees the need to toss a wild-card into the election process?

Kemp asked the GA AJ if he can replace the MAGAS on the election board who're causing so much trouble.

In a dramatic shift of political allegiances, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp is exploring the possibility of removing three members of the State Election Board, mere days after receiving a public endorsement from former President Donald Trump. This move underscores the complex and evolving dynamics within the Republican Party, particularly in battleground states like Georgia.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Kemp, a Republican, has requested guidance from Georgia's Attorney General on whether he has the authority to dismiss members of the State Election Board. This inquiry comes in response to controversial decisions made by the board's right-wing majority, which have drawn criticism from various quarters, including voting rights groups, Democrats, and even some Republicans.

As I've said several times b4,
in a fair fight, the GOP will lose.

Thus, they want anything but a fair fight...

LAMPLIGHTER @ #7

"Is fmr Pres Trump so afraid of a valid outcome that he sees the need to toss a wild-card into the election process? "

Trump is so insecure the question should be . . . When ISN'T he afraid of a valid outcome?

The only thing trustworthy about Donald Trump is that he always carries some loaded dice to make sure things go his way.
