The Marine Corps is streamlining how its commands report protests, extremism and gang activity among Marines, according to an administrative message released late last month, issues that each of the military services have long struggled with.

... Marine commands must verbally report instances of alleged extremist or gang activity directly to the Marine Corps headquarters' operation center within 30 minutes of being informed of the incident, the new message said. That initial notification is then followed by a more detailed report in the following day or days, depending on the rank of the alleged offender. The message intends to improve reporting requirements and address instances of the prohibited activities among Marines, the service confirmed to Military.com on Thursday. It was spurred by 2021 legislation that tasked the Pentagon with addressing "act[s] or threat[s] of violence" with ideological aims. ...

I agree extremist views throughout the ranks must be reported clear up to the Commander in Chief; i.e. If Trump gets elected there will be some new medals that will enhance a Marines' chances for promotion. The new Qanon Service Medal, Neo-Nazi Obedience to Authprity Medallion and the coveted KKK White Christian Nationalist Medal. And that's not to mention the MAGA Retribution Ribbon for Meritotious Retribution Against Leftists, Gays and Transgender enemies of the New Amerika!

Good move by the USMC.
As a former Marine I take issue with your ridiculous fantasy of a post Danni. The Marines I knew and worked with weren't perfect people but they were Nazis either. The USMC is obviously taking proactive steps to weed out the few who need to be shown the door and you take that news as an opportunity to impugn the service of thousands of Marines who volunteered to do a job you couldn't do. ---- you.

Statistically if you're hunting gang members in the Marines you're going to get a lot of low-level street gangs like Tango Blast from Houston.
The Houston jail contains a Marine Corps Recruiting Office. That's not a joke.

I remember when it was either prison or the Corps. Still happening, I see.

Good. If you join the Marines the only "gang" you should belong to and be loyal to are the Marines. Period.
Semper Fi.

Oops, my post should read "they weren't Nazis either."

#3-QCP Danni wasn't impugning Marines, he was levying sarcasm on trump. His posts are always very pro American and respectful of our Armed Services. It's rare that he delves into humor.

How do you imply Marines or any service member would rate those kinds of awards without impugning their characters or that of the Marine Corps as a whole?
Pretty sure Danni is a woman BTW.
