I remember before Comedy Central launched, they were running a bit by a comedian as a promo for the channel. He was a barber in a Chinese barbershop, pointing out the available styles:
You got your Moe [Three Stooges], you got your Moe, you got your Moe, you got your Pete Rose.
Charley Hustle. Great ballplayer. Consummate -----.

Couldn't agree more Hamburglar. All the sports, MLB included, are aggressively promoting gambling--there not even trying to hide their greed anymore. And Charlie Hustle is banned -- for life?! Disgusting. No forgiveness? His plea was that he would stay away from baseball and MLB would not definitely say he was guilty of betting on baseball (incl his own team). He could have been reinstated after only a year per MLB rules at the time. Yet those bastards let him wither in public shame for decades, and finally die on the outside. And now these MLB psychos want to tribute him???!!! Where's Will Smith when you need him? MLB needs to get Pete Rose's name out of their effin mouths! For mostly this reason, never been to Cooperstown. And now, I never will...

#4 I agree, it ticked me off especially when they inducted Darryl Strawberry who was a drug addict that tested positive more than once.

Pete Rose wasn't just a gambler. He's also one of the people responsible for the proliferation of steroids in baseball in the mid-80's and, according to John Dowd who investigated him for MLB, engaged in sex trafficking with girls as young as 12.

Also, put Donald Trump in prison for his crimes. I dgaf if he happens to agree with me on my Pete Rose stance. Dunno about the trafficking, will need to research that more. If true, never mind inducting him into the Hall. Wonder how many others in the Hall were involved with shady stuff and maybe need to be looked into/booted?
