More from the article...

... Only 20% of registered voters polled are highly confident the court can be unbiased, but they're split on party lines -- with 34% of those supporting Donald Trump expressing confidence in the court's neutrality, versus 6% for Vice President Kamala Harris' backers. ...

Lawsuit Pipeline

While more than 165 lawsuits already have been filed over the election, there is no guarantee any of them will wind up being resolved by the Supreme Court.

The Pew poll overall shows a majority of Americans believe the election will run smoothly, but they also divide on party lines. Among Harris supporters, 90% say they are at least "somewhat confident" that the vote will be administered well, while only 57% of Trump supporters expressed that optimism. ...

Roberts Supreme Court, by GOP design, is already a gaggle of bobbleheads for an authoritarian form of government. The only thing that will change that is a constitutional amendment that gives some sharp teeth to independent oversight outside the sphere of politics.

I watched, over time, as those three appointees of Trump lied through their collective teeth about Roe being "settled law". As soon as they were on the Supreme Court, they rewarded the male supremacist Trump with what he wanted, the end of Roe. If there really is no such thing as "settled law" then there is no such thing as independent jurisprudence. Each one of Trump's Supreme Corrupt Court appointees were and are lying creatures of the night.

"Voters" is that the word Dems now use to describe or illegal invaders that pretend or lie to become citizens? Dem traitors have been doing their treasonous damdest to make them citizens so they can steal your SOCIAL SECURITY.

At that point Dems went from opposition party to true "enemy of the people and state". Yet we oddly have those who mark their yards with signs that say I voted for all the problems and the invaders that Dems gave you.

Danni said in number 4 that guillotines needed for SCOTUS, but reality is not in her post. More appropriate and fair is to reserve accountability for those who actually caused this harm to our country. Didnt the French once do that?

The Supreme Court has proven to be compromised and biased.

I hope you're all enjoying living through the collapse of an empire.

Proven? I'm not there yet.

But there's this...

Graph Shows How Americans' Trust in SCOTUS Is Falling (October 7, 2024)
www.newsweek.com

... The American public has less trust in the U.S. Supreme Court now than it did before the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022, a new survey found.

When asked in May 2024 if they "trust the Supreme Court to act in the best interest of people like you," 56 percent of the U.S. public said that they did not, according to the survey.

Thirty percent answered "not at all"; 26 percent said "a little"; only 8 percent said "a great deal"; 9 percent said "a lot"; and 28 percent said "a moderate amount" in response to the same question.

By August 2024, when the survey was repeated, this trust had fallen further, with 34 percent replying "not at all"; 22 percent said "a little"; 25 percent said "a moderate amount", 11 percent said "a lot"; and 8 percent said "a great deal." ...

Roberts court did (inadvertently) manage to accomplish one thing.

They energized an entire nation of predominantly women voters.

Perhaps, in their lofty perch, they never heard the words "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned."

Live and learn.
