In a Friday post on X, Donald Trump spokesperson Karoline Leavitt angrily railed against the New York Times and Politico for reporting that the president-elect's margin of victory had decreased in the vote count since Election Day.

It wasn't a landslide... somewhere around 2% of total... so a tight competition... He campaigned for 4 years while she... a woman... campaigned for 3 months or so... and he normalized the possibility of women running for president... a monumental achievement for Kamala Harris...

I've explained this before. It's an incredibly simple thing to understand. I'll try again, just for you STD.
Imagine a red cube. it's 1' high, 1' wide, and 1' deep.
Imagine a blue cube. It's 1.15' high, 1' wide, and 1' deep.
jump from the red cube to the blue cube. You have to jump up.
That represents the "blue shift" in the last election.

Imagine a red cube. it's 1' high, 1' wide, and 1' deep.

That represents the "red shift" in this election.

The red cube didn't change.
The red cube size didn't change. That same cube lost overwhelmingly in 2020. It won this time without changing size.
The red cube didn't even achieve a majority in either election.
