This is a dilemma because Christians may not exactly want to see Palestinian Gazans suffer, but they simply support Israel due to their religious connection.
Christians don't have the same connection with Muslims.
As I pointed out before, the Jews trace their lineage back to Abraham's son Isaac, whom he had with his wife Sarah.
Muslims trace their lineage back to Abraham's son Ishmael, whom he had with Hagar, Sarah's servant, who was later sent away.
Incidentally, God made a covenant with Isaac's lineage, which Christians believe culminated in Jesus.
This covenant did not include Ishmael's descendants, however, in Genesis 17:20, God offers a blessing to Ishmael's descendants, promising them fruitfulness and a great nation.
This distinction symbolizes a theological divide between Jews and Muslims that has deep historical and religious roots.
Again...Christians aren't exactly anti-Palestinian, however, the net effect of their strong support for Israel can sometimes appear that way.
