... But Trump, 78, is now the oldest person elected president. Notably, he improved on his 2020 performance with most demographics to win back several key battlegrounds that he lost to Biden four years ago, including Pennsylvania and Georgia. On Sunday, Trump appeared on Meet the Press and sat down with host Kristen Welker for his first major interview since winning the election. When asked by Welker about what he wanted to tell the Americans who didn't vote for him, the president-elected said, "I'm going to treat you every bit as well as I have treated the greatest MAGA [Make America Great Again] supporters." He continued: "These people are so dedicated to making America great again. It's very simple. And I'm going to treat them just the same as I treat MAGA. We'll treat everybody good. We want success for our country, we want safety for our country...I want to treat everybody the same. I want to treat them well. But we have to get the criminals out of our country. We have to bring down crime. People have to be able to walk across the street and buy a loaf a bread without being shot. And that's going to happen. But what I say to them is, I love you, and we're going to all work together. And we're going to bring it together. And you know what's going to bring it together? Success." ...

...walk across the street and buy a loaf a bread without being shot.
Where, and how often does this happen? Is this really the country people believe we live in?

Don't worry. We'll be here to point and laugh when everyone turns out less prosperous and less safe due to the ensuring unrest of economic depression in a country saturated with firearms.

Mmm yeah, we did so great with that strategy and no empathy.

You found empathy on the other side? Please, just go join them and stop pretending. I was told twice by two MAGAts before the election that "January 20th we're coming for you, we're getting our retribution!" so ---- you very much. Empathy? ---- your feelings.

First, who is "we"?
Second, empathy for what? Terminal stupidity coupled with ignorant arrogance? That noxious mix coupled with vindictive a&^holeness and a desire to push buttons and piss people off?
Nah. F&^% that.
Also, MAGA gained something like 2% total votes compared to 2020. MAGA didn't win, everyone else stayed home and lost. How we treat those idiots isn't going to change a thing.

>no empathy
I've received messages on Reddit earlier this year that once Trump takes office I'm going to pay for my crime of polluting the white blood line. Not for miscegenation, for letting a child come out of my marriage. The message said that they have people doing recon missions, evaluating their neighbors. Neighbors last month have told me about groups of Trump supporters taking their kids trick or treating asking people who were giving out candy if they owned their own home or rented and if they were US citizens. Who am I supposed to be empathetic toward again?

'm going to treat them just the same as I treat MAGA.
So he's gonna lie to and --- us all over just like he did to Tim Scott, Blacks for Trump, Steelworkers Union and Muslims that voted for him.
How trite.

I watched part of the interview. Trump's already annoying voice and speaking style has gotten worse. His voice is so raspy now.
