Winter Storm Blair has prompted blizzard and winter storm warnings for millions as it continues to spread heavy snow and ice from the Plains to the Midwest and mid-Atlantic through Monday.

Travel will likely be snarled across multiple states and icing could be heavy enough to damage trees and knock out power.

"The winter storm is spreading snow and ice from the Plains to portions of the Ohio Valley, as seen in the radar snapshot below.

Thunder accompanied a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow in central Kansas early Sunday, including Wichita.

See our live updates page at this link for full updates on the storm's impacts."

.
Here in N Central Fl it's going to be between freezing and 40 degrees at might most of the week with highs in the 50's. Which is about as close as we get to snow.

Corky, tomorrow the high is 75. It drops to 35 overnight. Tuesday the high will only be 51. I can't wait!

It's almost like the Polar Vortex is real.

I'm south of DC. Supposed to hit around 11pm, with total by tomorrow night of up to 10 inches.

DC radio is all about the confluence of events coming up, with the funeral, the inauguration, etc.

I was in the car earlier, and the traffic reporter said there was a First Amendment action going on at a certain DC intersection, and cars should avoid that area.

Interesting that they didn't identify the First Amendment cause. Maybe it was just a bunch of historical buffs trying to reclaim all the good in the swastika.

I hope they drove here from far far far away... on borrowed money... and find themselves lost in Anacostia.

Record snowfall in my home town of Cincinnati, with more on the way. The City of Seven Hills will shrug it off. All good Cincinnatians of German stock know that snow shoveling is one of the manly arts, and that neatness and thoroughness count. Get to it...

Sounds like weather.

I miss the old weather channel, with their weather babe meteorologists. I remember they always had at least one who was pregnant (usually Sharon).

Sounds like a good opportunity to make swastikas in the snow.
