Report by security agency says 'policy of quiet' towards Hamas allowed it to build up resources for 2023 attack

The gunmen attacked to seize Israeli hostages because thousands of Palestinians were being held in security detention for years without trial or hearing. Amnesty International reported many Palestinians were tortured in those military prisons. With no way to get these captives freed, Hamas took hostages for a prisoner swap. Two trades took place in Nov 2023 before Bibi unleashed the full-scaled Nakba during the entire year of 2024.

The only other militant of note that day was IDF.

Israel's Irgun government will never report on how many Israelis they killed that day, following their Hannibal Directive.

But I would guess around 25% of total fatalities, both military and civilian, including the hostages later deliberately killed by IDF.

Frankly I'm losing interest in the eternal hell hole and war mongering state they call the Middle East. The USA has enough internal problems without adding theirs. The NYT reported much earlier that the events surrounding 10-7 were well known in advance. So maybe someone wanted the outrageous events of 10-7 to proceed and thus provide a new reason for more war and death. The first step should have been to rescue innocent hostages. I'm more than tired of hearing about it.

Zionism is a political ideology which upholds the decision by western countries to drop an abusive apartheid ethnostate on top of a pre-existing civilization in historic Palestine and then defend it by any amount of violence and tyranny necessary.

The majority of the people you see defending this evil are non-Jewish westerners with no connection to the Jewish faith, so to equate Zionism solely with Judaism (and vice-versa) is just a casus belli to crack down on righteous dissent and, more broadly, free speech.
