The country's bitterly tribal politics are spilling into text chains, social media posts and heated conversations as Americans absorb the reality of cost-cutting measures directed by President Donald Trump and carried out by billionaire Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency. Expecting sympathy, some axed workers are finding family and friends who instead are steadfast in their support of what they see as a bloated government's waste. "I've been treated as a public enemy by the government and now it's bleeding into my own family," says 24-year-old Luke Tobin, who was fired last month from his job as a technician with the U.S. Forest Service in Idaho's Nez Perce National Forest.

Never underestimate the power of simple, but powerful, jealousy when it comes to things like this.

Millions of Republicans think their enemies should be sent to camps.
So what's happening here is easily explained.
Fed Workers have risen to the top of the Republican Enemies List.

This is a peek into the MAGAt mindset.
It tells you this: MAGAts ARE READY TO SEE HARM DONE TO OUR their own FAMILY MEMBERS IN ORDER TO REMAIN TRUE TO OUR IDEOLOGY.
A wise man said "If they are ready to cheer the pain and misery of family members, then they are more than ready to kill and maim non-family members who are outside of their cult."
Ask BOAZ... But if he says he wants to show you something 'out back', don't go.

Perhaps the last time Americans experienced such internal animus towards each other was 1860. Back then, racial superiority was the divider, taught in schools and churches and handed down generationally as the norm. John Brown and abolitionists fought against the injustice of slavery before the Civil War which tore families apart. Other countries experienced Civil Wars (Russia, England, post-WWI Europe, Ireland), but only the US Civil War was over race. South Africa escaped apartheid without a race war. Years of rightwing radio, Fox News, and manipulative religious leaders have brought the same level of hatred back to America, led by Trumpf. So, today's MAGA mentality is tearing families apart, creating dysfunction where it shouldn't be, perhaps like it was in 1860.

... You'll dance to anything (You'll dance to anything You'll dance to anything You'll dance to anything) Oh, baby, look at you Don't you look like Siouxsie Sioux How long'd it take to get that way What a terrible waste of energy You wear black clothes say you're poetic The sad truth is you're just pathetic Get into the groove just get out of my way I came here to drink not to-------- So why don't you just go on home Cause if you want to moan you'll have to moan alone You'll dance to anything You'll dance to anything ...

A tune I heard only on the area college radio station.

I'm about 50/50 that my job, and hundreds of others out here in Germany, will soon be terminated. I'm not thrilled, but my plan has always been to wrap it up and move to Albania. I'm just one-step closer to that goal.
It will suck for my two daughters, whom I currently support. They're going to have to find a way to pay their own rent and car payments. And if there is a validated requirement for any job cuts, they're just going to be hired back. Trump's experiment may pay off, but if it doesn't, his prospects for the next four years are pretty dim. The markets are down, the dollar is down. GDP growth was forecast to be 3.9%. Now it's -1.5%
