... Musk, whose businesses have a number of Defense Department contracts, met U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth for 80 minutes in his first such talks at the Pentagon, which is responsible for a large chunk of federal government spending. It was unclear whether U.S. generals joined that meeting virtually.

The New York Times reported that Musk would be briefed on secret war plans for China, something Musk, President Donald Trump and others denied. Musk called the report "pure propaganda" and urged legal action against leakers. ...

@#1 ... Musk called the report "pure propaganda" and urged legal action against leakers. ...

Wait, what?

So, Mr Musk implicitly admits that the story is true, but also wants legal action against those who leaked that possibly true story?

Interesting ...

Strange for him to be at a meeting like this, but not without precedent-

Sep 21, 2024 " First Lady Jill Biden led President Joe Biden's Cabinet meeting and then went on to celebrate The West Wing's 25th anniversary in the Rose Garden.

You can only leak the truth.

You cannot leak maliciously false information.

Does Musk know or care that we don't actually work for him? And after observing how indifferently he does treat his actual employees, I personally would chose NOT to--no matter how attractive the salary offer might appear on paper.

I don't know. What? Does it answer the question as to what authority Musk has? Or is that stupid response all you have.

He was Secretary of State and National Security Advisor.

The national security advisor is appointed by the president and does not require confirmation by the United States Senate.

Senior Advisor to the President of the United States

These positions are equivalent. Elon has the same authority as Kissinger had.
