If the Trump administration moves on Iran, China takes Taiwan.

We've got the US President threatening to take over Greenland and Canada while supporting Russian's annexation of Ukraine. Why wouldn't China just do the same with Taiwan? It's not like the US is going to do anything about it.

The time for any nefarious actor to act is under the Trumpf junta, like Erdogan jailing his political opponent (not a peep from the White House). China is spending millions on this massive exercise around Taiwan and their fleet recently conducted drills in the Tasman Sea between Australia and Taiwan. The military planners in Beijing have four years to act. As capitalists, China would rather absorb Taiwan without damaging its industries and killing too many of their fellow Chinese. In Oct 1962 JFK used the USN to embargo Cuba during the missile crisis and I could see Beijing attempting such a suffocation, causing Taipei to "tap out." USSECDEF Pete Hellsbreath talks about defending Taiwan, but does the junta mean it?

Stinky Pete thinks the Taiwan Strait is a poker hand. Mike Waltz cannot find Taiwan on a map. Tulsi Gabbard doesn't know anything about the enmity between the PRC and Taiwan, but she will ask around and get back to us. That big chip foundry north of Phoenix will soon be owned by Huawei and thousands of Chinese national will be swarming the Western US by Memorial Day...

While I have high regard for our American military...Trump's appointments including his Secretary of Defense makes me more than a little worried if a massive shooting war ever breaks out. I worry Trump and his team can be leveraged..that is, they can be bought off to sacrifice Taiwan . Hope neither a war breaks out nor Trump's appointments have to make major decisions.
