Pres Trump prevailed by 30 percentage points in one of those districts, yet the Republican candidate only managed a 10 point lead in the early result of that district.
So, a 20 point drop in support of the Republican party in a deep red Florida district.
That's A Good Thing?
I remain to be convinced that these results give Republicans "breathing room" going forward.

Which district, Einstein? Also Trump wasn't running in the race. Is this how you make yourself feel better with a 27% nationwide approval rate for Democrats?

This isn't very good analysis, in one case Trump was running for President in a Presidential election, this was just a special election of some congressional seat.
Do better.

33 points in District 6, Waltz won 4 months ago, now 14 points. 32 points in District 1 - Gaetz won just 4 months ago, now 14.6 points. Today those margins dropped by more than half. Escambia county in District 1 that hasn't been blue in decades went blue by 3 points.
And then there's Wisconsin. Oh boy, was that a winner for the Democrats!
What a solid, good, hope-filled night!
Please, Republicans, keep doing what you're doing. PLEASE.

Yup.
It's fun to see the ad hominem attacks trying to deflect from that reality.
OK, I will state it differently ...
In a deep Red Florida, when the voting results change from a 30+ percentage lead by Republicans to a 15 or so point lead by Republicans ...
What does that say about how non-deep-Red voters view Republicans?
As an aside, it was significant enough that Pres Trump withdrew Stefanik's nomination to the UN.
If the deep-Red Republicans lose 15 or so percentage points in a deep Red state, what does that say about Independents going forward?

A lot of Trump voters are low-information voters who don't even realize other elections exist.
Also, Florida's full of @$$#013$

In the First district in the area around Pensacola, Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz defeated Valimont by 32 points in November. President Trump nominated Gaetz to be his Attorney General. Gaetz later withdrew and left Congress, leaving his seat open. Patronis jumped into the race but was heavily outraised by Valimont, who drew support from Democrats across the country. Patronis' margin of victory was about 15 percentage points, 17 points lower than that seen by Gaetz in November. In the Sixth district in central Florida, Fine beat Weil by about 14 points. That's a significantly narrower margin than that seen by then-Congressman Mike Waltz in November. Waltz defeated his Democratic opponent by 33 points. He left the seat vacant when he was named Trump's national security adviser. Weil raised ten times more money for his campaign than Fine and Democrats hoped they could pull out a victory in a red district. www.npr.org

About -15% for the R candidates than elections six months ago.
Midterms can't arrive soon enough to rid ourselves of the House MAGAts.
