Nothing to see here folks - 'experts' just off by 360% in their 'expert' forecasts. Strange how all the errors only seem to go one way with Trump and the other way for the Democrat presidents.

Donald Trump is a Liar.

There's no reason to believe any data his government releases.

I am so, so damned sorry that being a Liar means nothing you (including you personally) assert will be trusted.

You may never be able to get over it.

LOL. So that is the new BlueAnon conspiracy theory? Sounds pretty dumb to me - but, compared to some of the other hoaxes you -------- fell for, I guess I can see how you believe it.

SNOOFY offered you a face-saving escape.

But then you've have to admit the economy is crashing, wouldn't you?

Whenever I see "experts" in quotation marks or the term "so-called experts" I know it's going to be a garbage take from a ghoul or looney

Well, most "experts" don't have their forecasts off by 360% and are still referred to as expert.

What the F are you talking about? Durables goods were UP 9.2% - which smashed forecasts. That is not a crashing economy.

Purchasing inventory is up people are rushing to get stock. It's almost as if there's some idiot creating a very turbulent Market for no reason, that's causing inflated stock levels anticipating tariffs that actually stick around.

This "analysis" leaves out the central reason for the surge: fear of new taxes. Now, no matter what happens, we're headed for a buying slump.

In related news, the purchasing of "Forever" postage stamps spikes right before a price increase. Gee ... I wonder why ... .

More from the cited article...

... Transportation equipment orders soared 27.0%, boosted by a 139.0% jump in commercial aircraft orders, which are extremely volatile. Boeing (BA.N) reported on its website that it had received 192 aircraft orders in March, up from 13 in February.

But China this month ordered its airlines not to take further deliveries of Boeing jets, and some airline CEOs have said they would defer plane deliveries rather than pay duties, which could undermine the plane maker's recovery from a crippling strike last year.

Two Boeing planes destined for China recently returned. Boeing CEO Kelly Ortberg, however, said on Wednesday that the company had avoided broader damage from tariffs and could redirect jets to other airlines that have been "asking for additional airplanes."

Non-defense capital goods orders excluding aircraft, a closely watched proxy for business spending plans, edged up 0.1% in March after revised 0.3% drop in February. These so-called core capital goods orders were previously reported have declined 0.2% in February. ...
