Last century in Brooklyn a private security guard company affiliated with the Nation of Islam was awarded the contract to protect public housing of a predominantly Jewish complex. All of the guards were young, fit, disciplined Fruit of Islam (FOI) karate practitioners who didn't smoke, drink, or use profanity.

When some radical Jews found out these bowtie-wearing gentlemen were FOI, they petitioned Gov Pataki and had the lucrative contract annulled.

Afterwards many of the Jews in this complex kvetched: "Yeah, but that was the safest I ever felt living here with those schwartzers protecting me!"
