Will this be detrimental to Israel's entry into NATO?

Just Israel making more friends.

They way things are going it will be Israel, US, Germany. The Germans are certainly in character, even if it's mostly historical guilt over their own history.

The Axis of Genocide.

Tag teaming children, with Israel.

Oh noes!

Now all the NATO friends we will have left are Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, the United Kingdom, the United States, Greece, Germany, Spain, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Finland!

Then there are OAS Allies : Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Grenada, Guatemala, Guyana, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago, the United States of America, Uruguay, and Venezuela.

And don't forget Canada oh Canada! And Australia and New Zealand. And Morocco. Did I mention Morocco? I am sure I have missed a few Allies. But I think you get the point. We have a lot a friends partners and Allies in the world.

And actually it is reasonable for Turkey to use their economic leverage with Israel to try and get a cease fire. Especially since (FTA) the "ministry also says it will also take action to reduce economic connections between Turkey and the Palestinian Authority and Gaza"

Quite the Rant, fella. The US and Israel are totally isolated at the UN is more my point.

Most of the world is sick of coddling Murderous Ethnic Supremacists.

If the US stopped supporting them.... Would Israel be any more viable than Ukraine?

That's a serious question, I really don't know at all.

I guarantee though, if the US stopped supporting Israel, the settlements would be curtailed significantly and Israel would be more open to actual dialogue with its enemies.

They would have to be.

This could only be a Good Thing.

If the Islamic Resistance were to order it's supporters to stop fighting tomorrow, the war would be over. There would be no more attacks in Gaza.

If Israel were to do the same, there would be no more Israel.

True story.

Only in your imagination.

Is that goalpost heavy? The US is one of five permanent members of the security council and can therefore veto any UN resolution in the interests of its own national security. And has done so many times. As has many other permanent members. Especially Russia and China.

"Since 1992, Russia has been the most frequent user of the veto, followed by the United States and China. France and the United Kingdom have not used the veto since 1989. As of March 2024, Russia/USSR has used its veto 128 times, the US 85 times, the UK 29 times, China 19 times, and France 16 times."

If the US stopped supporting them.... Would Israel be any more viable than Ukraine?

They are still a democracy that supports civil rights and civil liberties for its citizens. And last I checked we still support democracies.

Even if they are flawed. Like us.

Flawed?

More like a travesty of "Democracy" that keeps a huge sealed off Ghetto that they bomb and strafe at will.

The Warsaw ghetto lasted 3 years. The Gaza ghetto has been closed for three times that long.

Israel does not respect human rights. They don't care about international law.

The current government there wants to eliminate the problem by driving the Palestinians into the desert to die.

Only Outside pressure has stopped them from doing just that.

If Israel had more resources of their own and was not effectively a dependent of the US they would have killed them all already.

I say, Cut the ------- loose.

Then they will have to act with circumspection.

Then they will Fear the consequences of their policies of Abuse and Murder.

Correction: The Gaza ghetto has been sealed for more like ten times as long as the Warsaw ghetto.

Warsaw ghetto - latest talking points from our favorite resident Kremlinbot.

Not that you really care because you're getting paid to troll these particularly stupid talking points, but... for others, a bit of real history:

Warsaw Ghetto (November 1940 - May 1943) lasted only long enough for the German Nazis to figure out what to do with 400,000+ Jews there, which happened in January 1942 Wannsee Conference - en.m.wikipedia.org(2001_film) - Conspiracy (2001 film) (I don't think they stream or have DVDs of it in St Petersburg, Leningrad Oblast, Russia)

And Nazis were very efficient in exterminating Jews, at a rate of about 15,000 a day in 1942 - en.m.wikipedia.org - Extermination camp / "Death Factory" / "Death Camp" / "Killing Center"

The only "ghettos" in existence in Gaza and West Bank are the "Palestinian refugee camps" which were set up and are administered by the ruling factions of respective territories - Hamas and Palestinian Authority - so that their refugee status enables them to continue to receive Billions of USDs and Euros in "humanitarian aid" both directly and through UNRW and NGOs, mostly from the US but also from other countries, including Israel.

Interestingly, most Arab countries in the Middle East have long stopped contributing to "Palestinians" because they know who actually gets the money and where the aid really goes, and they also remember well the history of Palestinian terrorism in their own countries, understand that Palestinian people at this point are nothing but the willing or unwilling tools of Ayatollah's Islamist Iran, Putin's Russia and their proxies, and they openly tell the US and EU that they are suckers.

Then they will have to act with circumspection. Then they will Fear the consequences of their policies of Abuse and Murder.

Finally the Russian troll said out loud what needs to be done to stop Putin from committing genocide and erasure of Ukraine and her people's culture and identity, and Ayatollah and the proxies from openly calling for and actively attempting to commit genocide and erase Israel and her people's culture and identity.

Turkey Halts Trade with Israel over 'Humanitarian Tragedy' in Gaza

There hasn't been a lot of meaningful trade to begin with, and Erdogan is in deep s**t right now - the annual inflation rate there is near 70%, on top of 69.4% last year and 85.0% in 2022, and Central Bank interest rate is 50%, in part because Erdogan stopped TCB from raising interest rates in 2021 and 2022. What better than the Jews / Israel to distract the public from domestic troubles and at the same time score brownie points with his friend Vlad the Mad of Russia?
