Harvard Economist Keyu Jin at London School of Economics talks China's long term trade strategery that began last time Trump put Tariffs on them in 2018... and has turned into a major success; she shows how they are exponentially growing trade with other country markets while we are losing the same markets.

Of course, one way they do it China Aid and also a No Tariff Policy for developing countries.

A very few more years and they won't need to trade with us at all.... which is the Plan.

@#1 ... This is really getting too funny. ...

In some respects, yes.

In one of my rare criticisms of a free press, I say this ...

Reporting the tariffs that Pres Trump places upon China (or anyone else) as ...,

"China tariffs"

is inherently misleading, and feeding into the Pres Trump alternate universe where China pays those tariffs.

The more appropriate description of those tariffs would be ...

"tariffs on China goods entering the US"

That indicates far better where those tariffs are applied, upon the goods Americans buy.

But length of headlines seems to be most important (can you say, 60 characters? I knew you could. :) So the media seems to drop the "on China goods entering the US" part to keep the headlines short, but misinforming.

The free press needs to do better here, imo.
