Mr Musk is now doing foreign policy?
Why should the Senior Co-President not?

I've noticed that, as Pres Trump's job approval continues to diminish, Mr Musk seems to be relegated to a more, I'll say, behind the scenes position.
President Trump Job Approval www.realclearpolling.com
... RCP Average 3/27 - 4/17 Favorable: 46.5 Unfavorable: 50.7 ...
The trend does not seem to be in Pres Trump's favor.

OK, a deeper dive into that page.
There are links provided on Pres Trump's arrproval ratings for various issues.
The issues are: Trump Approval on Issues: Economy | Foreign Policy | Immigration | Inflation | Russia/Ukraine | Direction of the Country
imo, worth clicking on those links.
Pres Trump looks to be underwater on all except immigration.
Underwater by 11+ percentage points on the economy?
Who could have thought that might occur?
After his six bankruptcies?

Elon Musk is a cheap labor addict.
He already said we need more H-1B visas so Indians can go the High Tech Jobs Americans refuse to do.

Can you think of a better person to know what America is missing in the tech sphere? AI, Space, EV, who else has their hands in all of this, and knows whats needed, actually needed, not just buzz words.
Would you send a DC bureaucrat? An academic?
Who would you send?
I've been critical of Musk, he seems like he's been taking to many drugs. That being said, he does have first hand knowledge of the US limitations.

" he does have first hand knowledge of the US limitations."
So ... It's just a coincidence that the groups he's been going after have been trying to regulate him?

True. Like most of Americans, they just love cheap labor coming across the borders any way they can. H-1B, undocumented doesn't make a difference.
I really don't see why you're complaining.

He grew up with slaves.
Now he wants to bring slavery back to America again.

You don't see the hypocrisy of Republicans claiming they want to deport undocumented immigrants in order to help Americans get jobs, while at the same time Co President Musk wanting to export (more) American jobs to India?

@#10 ... the hypocrisy of Republicans claiming they want to deport undocumented immigrants in order to help Americans get jobs, while at the same time Co President Musk wanting to export (more) American jobs to India? ...
There are two levels of hypocrisy of Republicans to discuss ...
One is the economic hypocrisy which your comment so artfully summarizes. The short-term transactional deal that Pres Trump loves, without regard for the long term ramifications.
The other the the "ally" hypocrisy where Pres Trump is trivializing eight decades of friendship and security support, and is actively alienating those long-term friends and allies because of some imagined monetary imbalance.
