The fallout from U.S. President Donald Trump's trade war reverberated further through the corporate world on Tuesday, as delivery giant UPS(UPS.N), opens new tab said it would cut 20,000 jobs to lower costs, while General Motors (GM.N), opens new tab pulled its outlook and pushed its investor call to Thursday pending possible changes to trade policy.

As convenient as it might be to blame this one on Trump, Jeff Bezos is the culprit. UPS has been bleeding money continuously since mid 2921, plot that with ANZN chart. They are inverse to one another. Recall that Amazons COVID boom financed their monopolization of the online ordering market and fleet buildout, leaving those brown trucks pretty close to empty.
My friend (UPS driver) used to carry a helper and bank overtime daily to complete his route. Now he runs three routes and finishes up early.

I'm also sure many here will be far worse off than I will be, especially those who don't have the resources to pick up necessities now while they can.
