The U.S. trade deficit in goods and services soared to a record $140.5 billion in March. Year-to-date, the deficit has increased 92.6%, as companies and consumers rush to import goods before President Trump's sweeping global tariffs increase on July 6.

It's not about trade deficit.

It's not about bringing jobs to America.

It's about raising taxes on the poor and middle class to cut taxes on the 1%.

Is it really a trade deficit?

Money leaves the US, and in return the US receives goods at an equal value of that money.

So, where is the deficit aspect?

When you look at Services, the United States is a net exporter.

We were what any modern economy strives to be.
Until Republicans destroyed it.

Of course China no longer buying American agricultural products or airliners only increased the deficit.
