To further evaluate the passages, the 'Prince' consulted three experts in plagiarism research and copyright who have previously analyzed prominent cases of plagiarism involving politicians or have conducted extensive research on academic integrity. All reviewers assessed the thesis without prior knowledge of the author's identity.

That manual review found eight instances of uncredited material, sham paraphrasing, and verbatim copying, according to the three experts. The four other passages that they flagged, the experts said, were not deemed to be of significance on a standalone basis, but fit a broader pattern of some form of plagiarism.

It would be more surprising if a Republican properly gave credit for someone else's work.

No one cares. College students are using AI to write their dissertations at this point.

Snoofy got bamboozled on his education, if he's not making bank now, he never will.

It pertains to his character at minimum and his nature as a grifter, not just the intellectual dishonesty of it all.

So, while this might seem insignificant to the MAGA cult, it seriously defines their inability to discern whom is trustworthy, imo.

That, and you understand his entire fictional education to be a platform for enrichment.

I laughed so hard, this is a perfect description.

Trump administration demands only the bestest!

You just know that Russian and Chinese war planners are working out plans that involve putting Trump's appointees to the test and people like Hegseth are clearly the weak point in our military defense. Trump made sure we had no-one like like Jim Mattis, to stop him from his fascist grifting ways, but that in the end weakens America.
Although, the more I think about it, if I were part of the Chinese or Russian war machine, I would be looking to bribe Trump and his gang...they are not the most patriotic of leaders.

I think the Princeton kids were tipped off to this sentence in Pete's work: "Copyright 1965. All rights reserved."

And now, Sparkle Pony is plagiarizing Mrs Obama as well.

Isn't that interesting?

The mean white girls aspire to be Michelle. They are in such awe, that they cannot help but imitate her.

It might make a difference if Hegseth was an academic. Interestingly, six of the flagged and supposedly plagiarized passages were from texts published AFTER Hegseth submitted his thesis. Calls into question the analysis don't it?
