Yeah, as I have seen on the local news this week, Mayor Adams seems to want to do all he can to sabotage the upcoming Mayor-elect Mamdani.
My first question would be... why?
Asked differently, wouldn't a current Mayor of NYC want to hold the interests of the people of NYC in the highest regard, and help the next Mayor?
So, why does Mayor Adams seem to want, no..., no only want, but endeavor, to work against the next Mayor?
Is Mayor Adams that petty?

NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's transition team is moving apace ridding City Hall of calcified dinosaurs. His staff is reviewing 70,000 eager applicants in the job bank.
Zohran's excellent staff will work hard to counter the vindictive sabotage perpetrated by sore loser Mayor Eric "Stymie" Adams.

What damage is that, and upon whom might he be inflicting that imagined damage?

Is Eric Adams a landlord with apartments subject to rent guidelines? Why is he doing this on his way out the door? Is somebody paying him? Is he trying to ingratiate himself to landlords?
