The Supreme Court on Monday morning signaled that it was likely to strike down a federal law that restricts the president's ability to fire members of the Federal Trade Commission.

One aspect of this that I am wondering about ...

SCOTUS has recently hinted that they agree with maintaining the independence of the Fed.

If that recent prior hint holds, then it may be interesting to see how they thread the needle in this case, while continuing with their prior agreement about the independence of the Fed.

You mean the conservative justices are trying to blow up the government but realize that destroying the independence of the fed would tank the economy, nay the global economy?

Yup.

Will be interesting to see how they walk that fine line.

I don't think we will find out anything to that point in this current case.

But when the Cook case comes up, that will be the important one, imo.

I just want to ask him how he got from monthly payments for the RV to no payments, waaaaaaaay before it was paid off.
