Post-9/11 hysteria and the "GWOT" led to the creation of DHS and ICE, which should never have been created in the first place.

9/11 was the fascist's dream for America, to provide a rationale to establish a police state that uses a massive electronic gulag for everybody (DHS) and an agency that can bypass immigration judges (ICE).

Once in place, both Democratic and Republican administrations used ICE to deport millions and DHS to populate its records.

Too bad no administration since 2008 dismantled DHS and ICE.

Now this monster, which was around since 2003, is on steroids.
