VA Tried To Block A Memorial Service For Alex Pretti

National leadership at the Department of Veterans Affairs initially blocked a memorial planned for Alex Pretti, the 37-year-old ICU nurse who was shot and killed by federal agents in Minneapolis. In an email obtained by The New Republic, officials at the Minneapolis VA claimed that "local leadership was instructed to pause the memorial" for Pretti, initially scheduled for Tuesday at noon. Two employees also told The Washington Post that a memorial for Pretti had been initially blocked, but another service is scheduled for next week. In response to an inquiry Wednesday about why the first memorial was canceled, Minneapolis VA Medical Center spokesperson Melanie Nelson told TNR that the organization was still working to schedule an event.

No surprise reading this. The abominable VA Secretary Doug Collins, who is making drastic cuts to the VA and hurting us Veterans, is a USAFR Colonel and a Christian Chaplain.

Thanks to DOGE and this faux Christian leading the VA, thousands of Veterans are getting scammed by contractors and other nefarious actors.

The Trumpf junta scaled back consumer protection in 2025.

Fraud and exploitation has always been rampant near military bases. Including the legal kind. I seem to recall some sort of law restricting payday loans within a certain distance of the base being passed, decades ago. Tattoo parlors, in the old days.

The amount of people who take their bonus and run out to buy new vehicle is laughable. Reminds me of Jay-Z:
