Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, February 11, 2026

The Grand Jury refused to return an indictment on Senators Elissa Slotkin (D- MI), and Mark Kelly (D-AZ), and Reps. Jason Crow (D-CO), Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), and Chris Deluzio (D- PA). The Congresspeople put out a video reminding members of the armed services they DO NOT HAVE TO follow an illegal command.

I always thought it should be a short hearing: The defense lawyer should ask if Kelly, et al, would be in trouble if they made a video telling folks to FOLLOW illegal orders.

Once the prosecution answers yes, the defense asks for a dismissal.

As shown, once again, a Grand Jury will indict a ham sandwich.

Just not baloney.

Imagine being so arrogant to try to indict someone for telling people they have a right to not do something illegal.

Any MAAGA fascist out there want to condemn the Grand Jury for failing to indict Americans for using their 1st Amendment rights?

Come on. I know you want to.

Quick search: a federal grand jury has between 16-23 jurors, of whom at least 12 must vote in favor of the indictment for it to be issued (www.law.cornell.edu).

I am proud of our judges. At least most of them. The judicial system is standing in the way of Trumpy's tyranny.

Obviously then the judiciary needs to "go thru some things."
