The World Health Organization on Friday released a formal statement blasting a US-funded vaccine trial as "unethical," because it would withhold an established, safe, and potentially lifesaving vaccine against hepatitis B from some newborns in Guinea-Bissau, Africa.

... "In its current form, and based on publicly available information, the trial is inconsistent with established ethical and scientific principles," the WHO concluded, after providing a bullet-point list of reasons the trial was harmful and low quality.

The trial has drawn widespread condemnation from health experts since notice of the US funding was published in the Federal Register in December. The notice revealed that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention"under anti-vaccine Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr."had awarded $1.6 million to Danish researchers for their non-competitive, unsolicited proposal to conduct the trial.

The Danish researchers are led by Christine Stabell Benn and her husband Peter Aaby of the Bandim Health Project, which is based at the University of Southern Denmark in Copenhagen. Benn and her colleagues have long been controversial for their questionable practices in research into alleged vaccine safety concerns. Kennedy has cited their work in his decision to cut global vaccine funding. ...

OK, my view ...

Pres Trump had cut aid, medical and otherwise, to Africa via his DOGE disaster.

Now, Pres Trump's admin wants to use those vulnerable African children for a, I'll be kind, questionable vaccine study?

RFK's brain is addled from years of heavy drug use. He has no business in the position he holds nor does the person who would give him such a job. Imagine how MAGATS would have reacted if Biden had appointed Hunter to a governmental job, much less one as critical as HHS.

Good observation. But my guess would be that Mr Hunter Biden never boasted about snorting cocaine off a toilet seat.

OK, that aside...

Pres Trump removes medical aid from children in Africa, and now his administration is using those children for medical testing?

imo, there's a problem there.

Pres Trump doesn't want to help save children, but he wants to use those children as medical test subjects?

This Gangster Government and it's brain damaged crew don't know the definition of, 'Ethics'.

If they did, they would not have and still be murdering 100's of thousands of children through starvation and lack of medicine... so that they can give tax cuts to their Oligarch owners.

Just wow. Brings back images to me of the unethical human testing done to black people in our own country. The whole premise of this experiment is unethical - the trial itself (talk to any medical scientist), the people it is being put on, where it is happening. I shouldn't be shocked by anything from this administration anymore but somehow I am.
