Jeffrey Epstein expressed sympathy for Brett Kavanaugh as he faced sexual assault allegations during his Supreme Court confirmation hearings, according to newly released files. The Justice Department released emails and text messages sent by the late sex offender during Kavanaugh's contentious 2018 confirmation and suggested that Republicans should have been harder on accuser Christine Blasey Ford, reported The Guardian. "Ive sat in Kavanaugh chair. Im thinking of November," Epstein sent Sept. 22, 2018, to a person whose name was redacted. It's not clear what he meant by his reference to November. |
