Trump, who came to office promising to keep the U.S. out of "stupid" military interventions (and end inflation on Day One), is now pursuing what many experts see as an open-ended war of choice unprompted by any imminent threat to the U.S. from Iran, despite claims to the contrary by the president and his aides.

As prices directly related to his tariffs and now this war rise, 60% of Americans disapprove of him in every category. Expect us to see how low his approval ratings can go, and how that'll make the midterms even more of a bloodbath for the GOP.

Fox News poll: Majority says Trump's handling of Iran has made US less safe

... A majority of American voters believe that President Trump's relationship with Iran has made the U.S. less safe, according to a new poll.

In the Fox News poll, 51 percent of respondents said the president's relationship with Iran has increased risk for the U.S. Twenty-nine percent in the poll said Trump's relationship with Iran has increased security for the U.S., while 19 percent said his relationship has resulted in "no difference." One percent said they were unsure about the effect of Trump's relationship with Iran on American safety.

Trump has dismissed polls featuring low approval from Americans when it comes to the U.S. military operation in Iran.

"I think that the polling is very good, but I don't care about polling. I have to do the right thing. I have to do the right thing. This should have been done a long time ago," Trump said in a New York Post interview published Monday. ...
