@#3 ... Pete Hegseth is an alcoholic misogynistic racist phony Christian whose own mother disowned him. ...

Ya know...

Sometimes I just wish you would say what is on your mind and not hold back the adjectives.

A many have observed here, I am not a devout follower of current Christianity because of the issues I have with Christianity's wandering into politics.

OK, that aside...

Isn't forgiveness something that Christians preach?

So, TX Rep Talarico's forgiveness of the Pastor is A Good Thing?

Fascinating how easily hate cloaks itself under pure white religious garb...has always, will always, and yet, for the discerning, there are wonderful people who believe, who take comfort and hope from their religion, and that is why I, an atheist, am so glad Talarico is running and hope he wins. His religion is no danger to those who see differently, he is an inspirational challenge to the far right.

*** Pope Leo: "God Rejects the Prayers of Leaders Who Start Wars and Have Blood on their Hands ***

"Pope Leo said on Sunday that God rejects the prayers of leaders who start wars and have "hands full of blood", in unusually forceful remarks as the illegal US-Israeli war on the people of Iran entered its second month.

Addressing tens of thousands in St. Peter's Square on Palm Sunday, the celebration that opens the holy week leading up to Easter for the world's 1.4 billion Catholics, the pontiff called the conflict "atrocious" and said Jesus cannot be used to justify any wars."
