There was a poll done recently that showed Dems winning elections under almost all circumstances. The exception was when a progressive Dem was paired against a moderate Republican.

I doubt it. Although I think most Repubs understand that by sticking with Trump, they are choosing to stay on a sinking ship.

The ship may be sinking, but it's the only ship we've got.
Republicans are going to stick with Trump, even if it kills them, us, and the Republic.

The GOP is a cult.
There's no easy way to leave a cult.
And Republicans are used to a life of ease and comfort.
Doing the hard work is for suckers and losers.
