"US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent called on US allies and on China to join an American operation to escort ships through the Strait of Hormuz even as he claimed the nation has total control of the vital waterway for the global oil trade."
The old Chicago Stockyards churned out less b.s. daily than this maladministration of lunatics, grifters, drunks, sex pests, druggies and morons.

Mega-oligarch Scott Bessent has been reduced to a groveling schnorrer.
Watch this week faux Christian Marco "Empty Suit" Rubio uselessly head to the Vatican and Rome as Dummkopf Trumpf's mannequin/errand boy.

For perspective's sake: This past month Iranians marked the 404th anniversary of the expulsion of the Portuguese from Hormuz.

It is unthinkable that this lunatic is still President and/or that Republicans in Congress expect any American to vote for them in November when they won't do their jobs!

@#3 ... Unthinkable? Uh ... no. In fact, blindingly obvious. ...
The US Military knew of the ramifications of attacking Iran, and closing the Strait of Hormuz was one of those ramifications.
The problem is likely that Pres Trump may have been of the opinion that his war against Iran would end so quickly that the closure of the Strait would not matter in the longer run.

Now he seems to be desperate for an exit ramp, as his unprovoked war drags on ...

@#12 ... "Okay, you guys go first. We'll be right behind you." ...
As I mentioned in a prior message, Pres Trump seems to want other nations to join the US in his war.
At which point, Pres Trump would likely just bow out saying that it is now ~their battle to fight.~
