President Donald Trump's war against Iran -- along with the resulting blockade imposed by both Tehran and Washington -- has sparked fear among experts that the supply of the world's "most-consumed chemical" may soon reach a "critical" shortage, The Wall Street Journal reported Saturday.

The Iran war is now hurting the clean energy markets, as many byproducts of the oil and gas industry are essential for making solar panels, wind turbines, and batteries, including plastics like ethylene and polypropylene, and sulfuric acid (used to process copper). www.semafor.com/article/05/0 ...

PS - Prices of fertilizer had already increased substantially because of Trump's tariffs, now this.

PSS - Russia was the largest exporter of nitrogen to the U.S. followed by Canada.

Putin now has more reasons to do the happy dance since oil has skyrocketed and Trump is waiving sanctions on Russian oil because of the war HE started.

What a failure - set of failures - by an American president. I hope America can survive him ...

It is crystal clear that the Iranians are simply waiting out Der Dotard. They will show up in Pakistan every other week to negotiate, so long as the Americans are not there. The tag team of Condo Salesman Steve Witless and Jared the Jew will certainly seem like a comedy duo rather than skilled negotiators to the Iran team, with their skill and experience. In another month US farmers will face a disastrous growing year, gas will be at $6 per gallon ($8 in California), no one will show up for the World Cup, and Der Dotard's rants will become more inane than ever. The nthe Iranians will come to the table in force, and bend the US to its will. Clip and save...

Right. When the tariffs went into affect you screamed "hyper inflation!" Didn't happen
When Trump bombed the nuke facility you screamed "WW3!" Didn't happen

All our economic indicators are strong despite oil costs up. Why? Because those that are paying attention know that higher oil costs are temporary and overseas investment in the US has been on fire.
