Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking crimes will return to the Capitol to hold another press conference demanding Congress force a vote to release the Epstein files. On Wednesday, Oct. 8, survivors will stand alongside Republican Rep. Thomas Massie and Democratic Rep. Ro Khanna to support the pair's bipartisan bill, the Epstein Files Transparency Act. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, one of the few Republican supporters of the bill, will be in attendance as well. Epstein survivors last held a press conference with the congresspeople on Sept. 3"during which time Trump had a fighter jet fly over their words and drown them out. During that press conference, survivor Chauntae Davies alleged that Donald Trump, 79, was very close with Epstein, to the point that the late sex offender kept a portrait of Trump on his desk.
"The US Dept of Education, in partnership the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), Turning Point USA, Hillsdale College, and more than 40 leading national and state-based organizations, announced the launch of the America 250 Civics Education Coalition. This landmark initiative is dedicated to renewing patriotism, strengthening civic knowledge, and advancing a shared understanding of America's founding principles in schools across the nation. With oversight from former wrestling impresario Secretary Linda McMahon and her sinister minions in the Dept of Education, the AFPI-led coalition will spearhead nationwide initiatives to engage students, educators, and communities in conversations about liberty, citizenship, and America's enduring values. This horrendous initiative will celebrate America's 250th anniversary next July and "Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness." Read more
The United States is experiencing a level of left-wing political violence not seen since the early 1970s, with one key and chilling difference: Today, a radicalized violent extremist can be anywhere. In the past year or so, we have seen the assassination of Charlie Kirk in Utah, two near misses for President Trump, the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York, the church shooting in Minnesota in which a transgender assailant allegedly killed two children, and, this week, the killing of two detainees at a Dallas U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility.
Much like the elites of a Charles Dickens tale " tapping walking sticks in their finery while using a nosegay to mitigate the stench of the masses " in Portland, human misery fades into the background, like the quiet but incessant rain. I could almost hear the hipsters mutter to themselves, "Are there no soup kitchens? Are there no safe injection sites?"
Local Democrats say they are "deeply troubled" by a video showing a Republican candidate for the Tolland Board of Education berating and threatening a 21-year-old in his garage during an apparent road rage incident last year. But the leader of the local Republicans says the party is not going to ask Judy Knoob to drop out of the race.
Israeli attacks across the besieged Gaza Strip have killed at least 70 Palestinians, medical sources said, despite calls from United States President Donald Trump for Israel to stop its bombardment after Hamas said it had accepted some elements of Trump's 20-point plan to end Israel's war. At least 45 of the victims killed in bombardments and air strikes on Saturday were in the famine-struck Gaza City, where the Israeli army has been pressing an offensive in recent weeks, forcing some one million residents to flee to the overcrowded south. Ohio farmer Chris Gibbs believes the state of play for America's agriculturalists has been negatively affected by President Donald Trump's tariffs. Gibbs said farmers are taking major losses on top of U.S. commodities -- like corn, soybeans and wheat -- and it is putting them in a "hell of a mess." "Farmers don't have the working capital they need, or the cash flow they need to continue to pay the high expenses that we're experiencing," Gibbs said on "Morning in America with Hena Doba."
After sabotaging the US national economy, a number of Republican senators will be luxuriating at a posh retreat on Georgia's Sea Island. Instead of staying in Washington this weekend to remedy the government shutdown their own party caused, these Republicans will enjoy an opulent resort, featuring three immaculately curated golf courses, a spa and fitness center and a picturesque white sand beach. These Republican Senators are fundraising from oligarchs and lobbyists at an opulent retreat that most of their constituents couldn't afford. Prices at the elite resort range from $495 per night for a Garden Wing Room to $599 per night for the Beach Club One Bedroom Suite. Marjorie Taylor-Greene (R-GA) criticized Senate Republicans for the government shutdown and milquetoast House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) urged his GOP colleagues not to hold luxurious fundraisers with the superrich after wrecking the economy and their constituents are having trouble making ends meet. Dummkopf Trumpf ordered the death of four human beings with high-tech munitions who were allegedly smuggling drugs on a boat in the Caribbean. The nefarious Trumpf junta is undeterred by mounting legal questions and international outrage about their campaign to destabilize Venezuela. The most unqualified person to ever lead the US defense establishment, racist misogynistic dipsomaniac Pete Hegseth, announced on social media that Trumpf ordered a lethal, kinetic strike on a narco-trafficking vessel.' Earlier, Trumpf had notified Congress that the US is now engaged in "non-international armed conflict" against drug cartels, whose members will be considered "unlawful combatants." This extra-judicial killing (XJK) is a clear violation of international law and more abuse of the Authorization to Use Military Force (AUMF) by the man who aspires to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, something which Trumpf covets since Jimmy Carter and Barack Obama were both rightful recipients. The White House reversed its idiotic decision to withhold $187 million from the NYPD that would have devastated their intelligence and counterterrorism operations. NYS Governor Gov. Kathy Hochul (D) and several Republican House members persuaded the Dotard-in-Chief to restore the funding. The cuts, which represented the largest federal defunding of police operations in NYC in decades, were made by S/DHS Kristi Noem without the approval of Dummkopf Trumpf. Governor Hochul had brutally denounced the cuts in a sharply worded statement: "A Republican administration literally defunding the police is the height of hypocrisy " and walking away from the fight against terrorism in the No. 1 terrorist target in America is utterly shocking." The NYS Governor also wrote a scathing letter to the underqualified Kristi Noem, accusing her of making "all of America more vulnerable to terrorist attacks. Do not play games with this critical security funding," she warned. Read more
