ByHeart is expanding its baby formula recall to include all of its products after over a dozen babies who've consumed ByHeart formula have fallen ill with infant botulism. At least 15 babies have been hospitalized with the condition " which is caused primarily by the bacteria Clostridium botulinum and can lead to a deadly infection in infants under 1 year " after being fed with ByHeart baby formula, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. ByHeart initially issued a voluntary recall of two batches of formula on Nov. 8 after receiving a notice from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration about an ongoing investigation into the recent outbreak. On Nov. 11, the baby formula company announced it was expanding the recall to include all ByHeart formula, including its cans and single-serve sticks. The recall comes amid a nationwide infant botulism outbreak. Over 80 cases of infant botulism have been reported since August, according to the Nov. 8 FDA notice.

The Everything Bubble is about to pop.

The loss isn't sitting well with the Dems' extreme-left wing, which did its level best to blame others in the party for what conservatives quickly dubbed "Schumer's shutdown." "Pathetic. This isn't a deal. It's a surrender. Don't bend the knee!" whined California Gov. Gavin Newsom in a press release. "Tonight, eight Democrats voted with the Republicans to allow them to go forward on this continuing resolution. And to my mind, this was a very, very bad vote," added "independent" Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Dozens of other progressive Dems added their vitriol, throwing a collective fit on BlueSky. The rage was palpable. Why? One big reason was that President Donald Trump promised to do what the Democrats had threatened to do in years past to end a shutdown: Kill the filibuster. (Not all Republicans agree with Trump, by the way.) Read more

"Don't kill it, don't squish it, don't cut it up," Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller warned residents via NBC as a toxic flatworm spreads across North Texas. While this invasive species has been in the US for years, the state's fatally heavy rains, fueled by climate change, are enabling the hammerhead flatworm (Bipalium kewense) to thrive and spread. This brown and black-striped, flattened land planarian with a distinctive half-moon-shaped head can reach lengths of up to 40 cm (15.7 inches). Like many flatworm species, it can regenerate a whole new worm from slices of itself. Read more

"The right has cast Mamdani as an Islamist or jihadist who will cover New York City in a burqa. Now, it's true that Mamdani defended calling for a global intifada, an Arabic term that means a mass Palestinian uprising that always includes the murder of Jewish children," Ungar-Sargon said on "Batya!," her new show on NewsNation. "But when he refuses to condemn Hamas, Mamdani just doesn't sound like an Islamist. He sounds like every other college-educated simp whose moral compass has been broken by American higher education." Local Ithacan, student organizer, and member of the Communist Party USA, Hannah Shvets (20) decisively defeated landlord and former factory CEO Gepe Zurenda in a hotly contested race for the Fifth Ward Common Council seat. Shvets was propelled to her seat by a growing coalition composed of labor unions, community organizations, and the numerous local formations of the progressive left. Ithaca, a Democratic stronghold, has long dealt with persistent wealth inequality, food insecurity, exorbitant housing prices (with resulting rampant homelessness), and an intensifying cost of living crisis. Democratic Party dominance, however, has done little to provide long-term solutions to these seemingly endemic problems. Many residents feel a lot of the explanation for this failure was embodied in Shvets' opponent. The Democratic Party leadership should be paying more attention to the progressive left and less towards Wall Street and AIPAC if they want future electoral success. Read more

Faux News host Maria Bartimoro interviewed medical quack Dr. Mehmet Oz who owns millions in stocks in the same health insurance companies his department oversees:

  • TV Tumor: "Do you have thoughts on how these ACA subsidies should move forward? The Committee for Responsible Budget says if you do a deal and fully extend those without any offsets, that would be a costliest way to end the shutdown ever. Because a 2-year extension costs $60 billion. The full counter proposal continuing resolution rolls back the Medicaid savings of $1.5 trillion " Republicans are never going for that. Do you have a thought on how you want to see this play out once these subsidies do expire this year?"
  • Quack: "You always ask the right questions, Maria. I spent a good part of the weekend with the White House working on exactly the answer to that question. We have lots of great ideas, but I don't want to show our cards. As the president often says, Why would I telegraph what we are going to do?' Read more

In a shocking admission, former D/Mossad Yossi Cohen has openly boasted that Israel has deployed a global sabotage and espionage network which uses "booby-trapped and spy-manipulated equipment." The method, denounced as terrorism by ex-CIA chief Leon Panetta and the UN, was used to target Lebanese Hezbollah and now, according to Cohen, is embedded in "all the countries you can imagine." Cohen, who led a blackmail campaign against ICJ judges, claimed personal credit for inventing the "pager method" during his tenure at Mossad's SOD between 2002 and 2004. "You know how many treated equipment we have in these countries? Not only booby-trapped, but spy-manipulated ... in all countries you can imagine," Cohen confessed, describing what appears to be a far-reaching system of compromised commercial hardware used to gather intelligence or, in some cases, cause physical harm. And we thought Chinese intelligence was penetrating all of our electronic devices. Read more

"The new leader of Syria is a former Al Qaeda terrorist wanted by our government who is meeting with President Trumpf today at the White House on the USMC's 250th anniversary. He rose to power in Dec 2024, sanctions were lifted off Syria in June, and many Christians and minority groups have been killed before and after sanctions were lifted. Syria is the oldest home of Christianity outside of Israel. The apostle Paul met Jesus on the road to Damascus. I pray the persecution ends, not only in Syria, but all around the world. However, I would really like to see nonstop meetings at the WH on domestic policy not foreign policy and foreign country's leaders. Start by hauling in the health insurance company's executives and let's start formulating our Republican plan to save America from Obamacare and ACA tax credits that have skyrocketed the cost of health insurance!" I've been talking about Christian Nationalism and why I believe it's the greatest threat to democracy for years now. I've had the chance to interview almost every major scholar on the topic, have read countless books, and kept up to date on the sociological data. But I've never written a full, in-depth piece that centralizes what Christian Nationalism is, why it's the biggest threat to American democracy, and why I don't think people are talking about it enough. So that's what this piece is all about.

Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson gave the Trump administration a 4pm ET Monday deadline to respond to an appeals court decision requiring that SNAP payments be issued in full.

The big picture: The 1st U.S Circuit Court of Appeals allowed an order requiring full SNAP benefits just a day after the Trump administration ordered states to "immediately undo" payments that had been processed.

President Donald Trump made a bad day worse for Washington Commanders fans, as he was loudly booed while making an announcement from the broadcasting booth during the game versus the Detroit Lions in Maryland on Sunday. Trump, 79, couldn't make sense of the words in front of him.

Understand what it is to be a family in Chicago. The next day, October 25th, federal agents tear-gassed children in Old Irving Park. Again, no warnings were heard. On October 26th, agents arrested a 70-year-old man and threw a 67-year old woman to the ground in Old Irving Park, then tear-gassed neighbors in Avondale. That same day, federal agents deployed tear gas at a children's Halloween parade in Old Irving Park.

"Kids dressed in Halloween costumes walking to a parade do not pose an immediate threat to the safety of a law enforcement officer. They just don't. And you can't use riot control weapons against them," Judge Ellis said to Border Patrol chief Gregory Bovino.

Eight members of the Democratic caucus, who backed a late-night deal aimed at reopening the government and ending the 40-day shutdown, have ignited backlash from inside their own coalition, with critics slamming the move as a "pathetic" surrender.

British fascists are being trained by American white supremacists linked to a deadly terror attack. Members of Vanguard Britannica, a racist, anti-Semitic group based in the UK, travelled to the US in September to attend the first national conference of the Patriot Front, America's most prolific neo-Nazi group. The members returned to the UK "ready to apply what they have learnt in our home country." During their trip to Texas, delegates took part in training "workshops". They also met with prominent American white nationalists including Jared Taylor, the editor of American Renaissance magazine and Thomas Rousseau, the leader of Patriot Front. James Alex Fields marched at the 'Unite The Right' rally before mowing down a peaceful crowd. Vanguard America has denied Fields was a member. Mr Taylor is an academic who believes in voluntary racial segregation and has been credited with intellectualizing the US white nationalist movement away from Klansmen and skinheads. Read more
