First Air-to-air Victory by a US Female Fighter Pilot

A US Navy fighter pilot has become the first American woman to score a victory in air-to-air combat, the service has revealed.

IDK, kinda hard to get excited about a victory against something that is unmanned and doesn't shoot back.

Anti-drone combat will be as serious as manned combat in the near future if things go hot.

Current iterations of UAVs may be air to ground, but air to air UAVs aren't too far in the future of the platform technology.

#6 the transformation of warfare in Ukraine by drones is probably the scariest thing about it IMO.

I've been reading about it happening and they've shown the predictions to be workable with scary results.

I don't remember the channel but I saw this interesting video on YouTube where a Ukraine vet described drone warfare. How you learn to differentiate the sound of yours vs theirs. Attack vs surveillance. Countermeasures and how they were building cover to fool them.

He then reenacted a scouting mission they went on where his team was stalked by a drone and he demonstrated how they evaded them.

Some of it was simple and straight forward. A lot of it was luck of the draw.
