JD Vance Repeats Inflated Immigration Figures Rejected by Experts

Vance's remarks Thursday came as he sought to rebut recent findings from investment firms such as Goldman Sachs that immigration has had a positive effect on the U.S. economy and the labor market.

... "What that's actually led is communities like Springfield, Ohio, where you have 20,000 Haitians who have come in," Vance said on CNBC.

"Housing costs are unaffordable ... people can't afford to live a good life in this small Ohio town," he said.

"If the path to prosperity was flooding your nation with low-wage immigrants, then Springfield, Ohio, would be ... the most prosperous city in the world," Vance said. "America would be the most prosperous country in the world, because Kamala Harris has flooded the country with 25 million illegal aliens." ...

Netherlands says it is enacting 'strictest asylum regime ever'
www.upi.com

... Saying it "cannot cope" with large number of migrants crossing its border, the Netherlands unveiled strict new anti-immigration measures Friday.

Prime Minister Dick Schoof and Minister of Asylum and Migration Marjolein Faber will enact the new emergency law "as soon as possible," the government said in a statement.

The legislation will pave the way for the country to opt out of the European Union's asylum and migration policy, which it plans to do next week.

"The voter has given a clear mandate. We need to change course and the influx must be reduced immediately. We are taking measures to make the Netherlands as unattractive as possible for asylum seekers. And there is no place here for anyone who abuses our hospitality. I am going for a safer Netherlands," Faber said in the statement. ...

OK, I have to ask...

When a similar Republican-sponsored asylum-restricting bill came to the floor of Congress this year, with strong bi-partisan support, why did fmr Pres Trump get on the phone and instruct his cult to torpedo the bill?

Why did not fmr Pres Trump want to help resolve the border issues the Country faces?

Sen Vance: Immigration is bad

True! Without immigration, Vance would have been unable to procreate with that Indian woman.

So JD wants to send his in-laws back to where they came from?

I'll bet his house smells like curry.

And JD Vance STILL perpetuates the "eating cats" nonsense by posting a video claiming immigrants were roasting cats.

The internet kicked his ass. Why? They were whole chickens.

So it is January of 2025, and Trump has lost, and he can either go to his trials quietly, or he can raise up his army of brownshirts to attack the centers of American politics. I would look to a major disruption at the Presidential inauguration itself.
We all know what he is about, to be a dictator, and so we all know what today's Republican Party is about, sucking up to someone who should be opposed at every chance. I think there will be a lot, millions in fact, of young men and women who will be voting Blue for a long long time, as they rightly see the Republican Party as the party of Trump and hate.

900 people pled guilty to 1/6 crimes. He'll be lucky to get a tenth of that after he gets buried in that landslide that's coming.

The entire GOP thrives on disinformation anymore.
They have created an alternate universe of pseudo-facts,
and 'could have been' and 'might be true's'.

I don't think that even half of them even KNOW what is
reality anymore. This is the kind of brainwashing that
gets people killed...
