"cult of personality, a deliberately created system of art, symbolism, and ritual centred on the institutionalized quasi-religious glorification of a specific individual.

Since the 20th century, "cult of personality" has been most often used to refer to charismatic leader cults, a type of personality cult which is based on a political leader and designed to enforce their power, magnify their ideology, and legitimize the rule of the government associated with them.

Due to the association of these personality cults with autocratic systems such as fascist Germany and the communist Soviet Union, they have developed a strong negative connotation."

The five things President Trump has a mandate to do

We were just right, and they were just wrong.
by: Jack Posobiec

Don't call it a comeback.

Donald J. Trump never left.

He never quit. He never faltered. He never took one step back.

And he took this entire country, and this entire movement, and millions and millions of people on his back, and he said, "if you follow me, I will lead this country to a golden age of epic proportions."

And now, after winning not just the presidency, but all seven swing states, not to mention the popular vote " the first time a Republican has won it in 20 years " he has a mandate. Not just from the American people, but from heaven itself. And the reason for that is obvious: we were just right, and they were just wrong.

But friends, saying Trump has a mandate alone is not enough. We must outline what, exactly, he has a mandate to do.

1) President Trump must reactivate the American economic engine and get it roaring again. Frankly, this is the entire ball game. Americans reelected Trump not just to restore wealth, but to restore upward mobility; in a word, to rescue the American dream. If President Trump makes Americans optimistic about their chances to grow their own wealth and improve their own status in the world again, and does it lastingly, then the rest of his agenda becomes not only possible but inevitable. Americans remember who broke the economy; we need to be sure that they also remember Trump fixed it.

2) There is cleaning up the Deep State. When Donald J. Trump walks into the White House again on January 20, there is no longer any reason not to give the likes of Elon Musk the ability to expose and expunge every inch of corruption, waste, fraud, and abuse within the administrative state. And that's just the money problems. The national security state " and particularly the three-letter agencies " must be radically reformed and take serious steps to regain America's trust through unprecedented shows of transparency and accountability for its previous failures and flirtations with extralegal tyranny. A Twitter files for the federal government is not out of the question, and frankly, it would be glorious if it did come out. After the past four years of censorship, lawfare, unconstitutional woke discrimination, unaccountable regulatory actions, and deliberate misinterpretations of statutory law, the swamp has become so rancid that a majority of the American people want it drained. The Supreme Court already gave Congress the right to check it. Donald Trump will make that unnecessary.

#16 | Posted by lee_the_agent at 2024-11-18 01:10 PM

3) He must fix the runaway illegal immigration problem. About this, I have just four words: They're all going back. All of them. No exceptions. If they don't have a legal right to be in this country, they're gone. Mass deportation is coming. The Enemy Aliens Act of 1798 will be invoked. The migrants who have murdered, raped, and robbed US citizens since Biden took power will be evicted or shot, whichever comes first. The floods of "asylum seekers" besieging America's major cities will be removed. The legal farce of "birthright citizenship" will be revoked.

4) We must end the wars. As of now, the Ukraine war is still ongoing, as is Israel-Gaza. Both must be ended. The authoritarian Ukraine gangster government will no longer be able to take advantage of the United States, nor keep us involved in a war which has no effect on our own people, and which frankly looks more and more like a money laundering exercise for the Deep State. The Gaza conflict, too, must end, a fact which even Hamas and the Houthis seem to acknowledge. Their revolution is over, and President Trump should take aggressive action to broke a lasting peace in the model of the Abraham Accords which preserves not just Israeli sovereignty, but stability in the Middle East, in general. The goal should not be for America to keep the region peaceful; the goal should be for America to broker a peace which the region itself can keep.

5) Last, but most assuredly not least, the balance of trade with China must be quickly and sharply reversed. If we mean to confront Xi Jinping's regime, then the last thing we can possibly do is be economically dependent upon it. American companies must be incentivized to onshore facilities and jobs, and if using a carrot doesn't work, then the stick that is tariffs must be used. President Trump should move to aggressively and unilaterally sanction cheap Chinese goods and stop the nation's rampant intellectual property theft. Finally, President Trump must act to lessen the Chinese government's share of US debt, in order to prevent the possibility of economic sabotage. We are now in a second Cold War. It's time to act like it.

There will be those in the media, and possibly even in our own ranks, who call this course extreme. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not extreme. This is what the American people voted for us to do. These are the promises we made, and unlike other politicians, President-elect Trump keeps his promises. We have the mandate of heaven, and in two months, President-elect Trump will put on the armor of God for this final, most consequential battle to make America great again. It is our job to make sure we do everything in our power to have his back, for we, the American people, are President Trump's greatest weapon against the entrenched forces of decline, decay, and degeneracy.

We will not fail, and neither will he. Celebrate now, but know that tomorrow, the battle begins anew.

#20 | Posted by lee_the_agent at 2024-11-18 01:19 PM

"President Trump must reactivate the American economic engine and get it roaring again."

What a riot.

The American economy is the envy of the entire world. Inflation, spurred by worldwide stimuli, came down faster and further in the US than any developed country.

Fact is, if Trump could take credit, he would. Republicans would be crowing about the economy if an (R) were currently in the White House.

At this point, Inflation is at 2.4%, gas is $3/gallon, eggs are $3/dozen, milk is $4/gallon, and unemployment is at 4.1%.

Let's see where everything is in 9 months. When all are worse, who will Republicans blame?

#21 | Posted by Danforth at 2024-11-18 01:19 PM

They'll blame the democrats and Biden, of course. They'll say they inherited a looming mess. That was rhetorical, wasn't it? And I answered. Duh.

#22 | Posted by YAV at 2024-11-18 01:37 PM

who will Republicans blame?

Biden, Hillary, Obama, teachers.

#23 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-11-18 01:38 PM

#21. And if the economy is better 9 months from now, who will you credit?

#24 | Posted by BellRinger at 2024-11-18 01:51 PM

The lord, Jesus Christ.

Or is it Trumpy Christ these days?

#26 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-11-18 01:54 PM

Yeah, it's a good question... who will Trumpers blame when prices soar from tariffs and lowered labor availability?

Well, they obviously can't blame Trump or themselves, so that leaves the innocent to blame, in whatever form or fashion.

Good news for Republicans is that's old hat to them; they've been doing it for ages.

#27 | Posted by Corky at 2024-11-18 01:56 PM

"There will be those in the media, and possibly even in our own ranks, who call this course extreme. Ladies and gentlemen, this is not extreme. This is what the American people voted for us to do."

Same crap.

Different day.

In the coming generations shall be able to look back with pride upon this day, the day on which a great people affirmed the MAGA community. In the past, millions of American men shed their blood for this country. How merciful a fate to be allowed to create this country today without a suffering. Now, Americans rise subscribe to it, hold it tightly in your hands! I wish to thank Him who allowed me to return to the White House so that I could return it to my America! May every American realize the importance of the hour tomorrow, assess it and then bow his head in reverence before the will of the Almighty who has wrought this miracle in all of us within these past few weeks.

Seriously, there's no reason to prove your ignorance with every post... we get it.

"During Fiscal Year 2024, CBP significantly increased its enforcement efforts and realized a substantial decrease in southwest border encounters," said Troy A. Miller, Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Commissioner."

"Since the June 5 Presidential Proclamation on Securing the Border and accompanying Interim Final Rule, which was finalized Sept. 30 subsequent to an updated Proclamation, went into effect, there has been a continued, meaningful decrease in unlawful border crossings " including a more than 55% decrease in encounters between ports of entry along the southwest border.

Since then, DHS has also tripled the percentage of noncitizens processed for Expedited Removal, and the number of individuals released by Border Patrol pending immigration court proceedings is down 80%."

'

"As a result, from June 5 through the end of September, DHS has removed or returned more than 160,000 individuals to over 145 countries, not including CBP repatriations of people encountered at airports or the northern border.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement " Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE-ERO) has operated more than 495 international repatriation flights in that period.

For the full fiscal year 2024, preliminary data show that DHS completed over 700,000 removals and returns, more than any prior fiscal year since 2010. That includes more removals to countries other than Mexico than in any prior year."

You would, in what way did Corky defend the Millions of people that have entered the country illegally and stayed?

You can't tell me all these "asylum" seekers had no affect on housing, or hotel prices?

This is a silly stat, because the comparison assumes a "constant" rate of crossers per day, from 2010-2024. You'd be an idiot to believe its been the same constant rate, and only now they are improving upon it.

I am not sure what the problem with that would be, so long as they don't operate within the US.

For decades the US went after all sorts of groups that didn't pose a direct threat to US citizens, Syria for instance, Iraq.

I can't think of a more moral reason for military intervention eradicating the cartels..
