If this doesn't illuminate the incredible salary disparity in
America, I don't know what does. He tossed a quarter of a billion
dollars at the election, like it was fake Monopoly Money.

And then he wants to cut and gut programs for everyday people
so that billionaires like him can get yet another 'tax cut'.

I'm pretty much done with this country.

That's about what Zuckerberg spent on 2020 to help Democrats.

Why, because your $10 donation was part of the Billion and a half that your party blew in 3 months, 2 million of it going to Oprah and Sharpton to get their endorsements?

And btw, I don't think this country will miss you.

I'm sure Elmo did it for altruistic reasons.

That's about what Zuckerberg spent on 2020 to help Democrats.

You just repeat whatever Fox/Rupert Murdoch whisper into your ear, don't you?

Zuckerberg and his wife donated at least $400 million to two nonprofit organizations which distributed grants to state and local governments to help them conduct the 2020 election during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Mark and Priscilla provided funding to two non-partisan organizations that helped cities and states ensure that residents could vote regardless of their party or preference," he wrote in an email to the AP. "Nearly 2,500 election jurisdictions from 49 states applied for and received funds, including urban, suburban, rural, and exurban counties."

#1 And no one is looking to gut programs for everyday people. Just listen to John Federman. Unless everyday people will lose a nights sleep because the million is cut to study whether a gerbil gets the munchies from eating a joint.

#4. And you think that wasn't done to help the Democratic party?

#6 | Posted by fishpaw at 2024-12-06 11:23 AM

Leon spent $44 billion on twitter to get Putin's orange bitch installed.

I'll guarantee what won't be cut by duge....anything that is paid to elmo.

#9 He doesn't need it. He already has contracts with NASA because SpaceX was cheaper and more efficient with satellites than NASA.

#10 | Posted by fishpaw at 2024-12-06 11:58 AM

Elon Musk spent $44 billion to buy twitter and used it to control the last election.

The $250 million was chump change.

#11 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-12-06 12:05 PM

That's only 1/1000 of Elmo's net worth. And he's gonna get a great ROI.

#12 | Posted by Whatsleft at 2024-12-06 12:52 PM

"v And you think that wasn't done to help the Democratic party?"

Helping cities run election doesn'y help either party, only a partisan hack would make a stupid comment like yours.

Jeff's a reactionary parrot. Someone who will regurgitate the talking points fed to him by the right wing media and the leadership of his party. Without any critical thinking nor intellectual honesty. It's sad but thems the facts.

Amen.

...and he squeaked by with less than 2% more votes than Harris and didn't win the popular vote. Musk is more lucky than genius

#17 | Posted by RightisTrite at 2024-12-06 02:07 PM

Trumpy DID win the popular vote. But did not get the majority or more than 50%. Common mistake. By both sides. Trumpy did not achieve a mandate. (As apposed to his man dates)

His total last check was:

With 96% of the vote in, Trump has, according to the Associated Press, 49.97% to Vice President Harris' 48.36%, or 76.9 million votes to 74.4 million. (The U.S. Election Atlas has a higher raw vote total and a slightly narrower margin, 49.78% to 48.23%, or 77.1 million votes to 74.7 million.)

It's the highest percentage Trump has received in his three runs at the presidency. (He got just less than 46% in 2016 and less than 47% in 2020.) Votes are still being counted, including provisional and overseas ballots across the country.

Elon Musk
@elonmusk

Just to be super clear, I'm not donating money to either candidate for US President.

John Fugelsang
@JohnFugelsang

Just to be super clear, those millions and millions of $ for Trump were bribes, not donations.

Let the oligarchs line up at the starting line. America is trending away from democracy to a right-wing plutocracy. Abe Lincoln & U.S. Grant would be appalled.

Money in politics is only a problem when it's the Republicans. Kamala 1.5 billion crickets... LOL.

#21 | Posted by visitor_ at 2024-12-07 04:23 PM

$1.5 billion is nothing compared to how much money was spent electing Trump.

You stupid simp.

#22 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-12-07 04:31 PM

A little research would show that Kamala outspent Trump by a bunch.

#23 | Posted by visitor_ at 2024-12-07 05:35 PM

Musk outspent Harris by billions. Bought Trump, and is now writing Republican policies for America.

#24 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-12-07 05:42 PM

Let's be honest, California quit counting vote weeks age and has been manufacturing them ever since.
