What Rights Has Trump Lost?

Trump, who had a gun license and talked about owning guns in the past, has lost his right to possess firearms. The president-elect could also be banned from any ventures back into the casino business. Trump once owned three casinos in Atlantic City, and if he wanted to reenter the business, he would probably run into an issue because people with criminal records are usually not able to obtain gaming licenses.

... How Trump's sentencing affects his voting eligibility and gun ownership

President-elect Donald Trump was sentenced in his New York hush money case on Friday, ending the case that found him guilty of multiple felony counts.

As a convicted felon, Trump has lost the right to possess firearms, but he can still vote, hold federal office and travel outside of the country.

Trump is the first former president to be convicted of a crime and sentenced. His sentencing hearing, in which Manhattan-based Juan Merchan gave him an unconditional discharge, comes less than two weeks before his inauguration on January 20.

Trump's unconditional discharge means that he will not be punished with prison time, fines or community service. He will, however, have felonies on his criminal record, which changes some things for him moving forward. ...

He may have also lost his right to hold liquor licenses for his prosperities.

Also, he has also lost the right to say that he is not the first President of the United States who is a convicted criminal.

The damage to Donald's ego is immense. He will now demonstrate his incapacity to forgive and forget. He's going to hurt more than one someone.

When one has Secret Service protection for life the lack of being able to purchase and own a firearm is not a great loss for him.

If he's breathing free air, he hasn't lost enough.

Donald suffers under this sort of humiliation, and vows revenge.

Don't tell me that after all this time you don't get that.

Damn-there was always the chance he could accidentally shoot himself and they've taken that away!

Trump hasn't lost anything and proved what everyone has already known, our justice system is broken.

Should he want to parade around his newly acquired casino with guns and liquor licenses, he will.

What's anyone going to do about it?

Besides. In 9 days he'll be president and he'll pardon himself of all charges.

#9 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-01-11 01:59 PM

#9 Clownshack He can't, he can only pardon someone for federal crimes not state crimes.

#10 | Posted by Ronnie68 at 2025-01-11 05:24 PM

He'll figure it out. Even if republicans have to rewrite the laws.

It's Trump country now.

#11 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-01-11 06:12 PM

But. Also. Thanks for the information.

#12 | Posted by ClownShack at 2025-01-11 06:12 PM

Trump is now an official FELON.

Multiple Counts. I Guarantee that Stings....More than a Little.

He's a Loser in the Eyes of the Law. Also decent private individuals.

He knows he's Trash. Deep Down. The Thin Skin proves it.

Eff that piece of ----.

I hope he Strangles on his own Vomit....Just Kidding..

Anybody who believes Trump will obey the restrictions placed on him by the Conviction, hasn't been watching for a long time.

Donnie's conviction will be overturned, so don't celebrate just yet

#15 | Posted by TheMajorKong at 2025-01-12 09:07 PM

@#15 ... Donnie's conviction will be overturned ...

By what Court?

And upon what basis?

#16 | Posted by LampLighter at 2025-01-12 09:17 PM

@#15 ... Donnie's conviction ...

It is not a conviction.

It is 34 convictions.

Thirty-four felony convictions.

Do try to keep up.

"Donnie's conviction will be overturned, so don't celebrate just yet"

So when the Supremes chose not to overturn it and the conviction stands then can we celebrate?

And what would we be celebrating? The temporary continuation of the rule of law in America?

Well ok. I'd drink to that. After seeing America reelect a twice impeached convicted felon and sex offender I figured it was a good time to start drinking again anyway.

No worries mate!! I got you covered.

Also I just thought of a right that Trumpy has lost!

The right to remain silent.

I will bet that very soon we will all wish he'd would avail himself of that right.
