Trump Gets His Wish After Raging at Flags Honoring Carter

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) is granting President-elect Donald Trump his wish after he raged at flags honoring former President Jimmy Carter.

At Nixon's second inauguration in 1973 the flags whipped in the air at half-staff for Truman, who, like Carter, had recently died. Nixon did not have a hissy fit. He was, among other things, a serious person. Trump is the baseline for determining who is or is not a whiney man-baby.

I thank Jimmy every time I crack open an IPA - he made homebrewing legal during his presidency. I love letting people know that he was ultimately responsible for the explosion of craft beer around the world.
