TB Outbreak in Kansas with Nearly 70 Cases

Kansas Department of Health and Environment announced 67 active outbreak cases and 79 latent infections in Kansas City, KS. The majority of cases were declared to have broken out in Wyandotte County and Johnson County, just west and southwest of the metro area. Officials stated that the outbreak had a very low risk to the general public and surrounding counties.

Caroline Kennedy testified that her cousin Robert F. Kennedy Jr is a "predator" who secretly vaccinated his own children, but publicly pushes anti-vaxxing. With avian flu, tuberculosis, and pertussis on the rise, who needs anti-vaxxer RFK Jr as HHS Secretary? Only another lunatic.

Vladimir Solovyov

On his TV show, Russian presenter Vladimir Solovyov said this about Robert F. Kennedy, Jr, Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, Pete Hegseth, and the other Trump Cabinet appointments:

"What an excellent team is coming along with Trump! Not with respect to Ukraine, but as far as everything else goes. If they are allowed to get in, they will quickly dismantle America, brick by brick. They are so great!"

Red Stat. MAGA.

TB outbreaks are a cultural thing among Donald lovers; created to express Donald love.

Polio outbreaks coming soon.

who needs anti-vaxxer RFK Jr as HHS Secretary?

A small petty tyrant who wants to burn it all down because he had the sads at being held accountable for being a criminal.

When you see the goal is to just make people suffer by eliminating education loans, meals on wheels, head start, food stamps while at the same time ripping off the taxpayers for golfing trips and collecting billions in "memecoin" sales from foreign governments for favors this is where we are.

An administration of -------- led by an ------- cheered on by his ------- base.

What are the political affiliations of the sick people?

You will find them to be MAGA.

It's their culture. This is simple an expression of it.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but there is only one sub-culture in this country that openly invites deadly disease.

And people like me don't belong to it.

"but there is only one sub-culture in this country that openly invites deadly disease."

Hey, this isn't the 80s and the AIDs crisis anymore.

"What are the political affiliations of the sick people?

TB?

"TB is a leading cause of infectious disease death worldwide, and has been on the rise.

In 2023, the bacteria killed 1.25 million people globally and infected 8 million, the highest count since the World Health Organization started keeping track."

MAGA?

If you want to work to find a Trump angle.....be my guest.

I get it. You want to defend Kansas. Everyone should take pride in where they live.

As to my point----That MAGA as part of its culture invites crippling and death from diseases----

We may find absolute proof of that if that Kennedy fellow is approved.

-TB outbreaks are a cultural thing among Donald lovers;

where are the TB outbreaks in Texas, then?

You realize nobody expects you to back any of this drivel up, just like every single day here, right?

Just like those in Kansas.

It's like nothing libs ever predicted to happen has ever happened. Right?

Unfortunately for you and me it is gonna be worse than we could have imagined. (Even though events like this one WERE imagined and warned about.)

So sorry. I don't have a lot of sympathy for America anymore.

They got exactly what they asked for.

"We have met the enemy and it is us."

True.

-It's like nothing libs ever predicted to happen has ever happened. Right?

I don't think that. I was talking to and about Zed. Not "libs".

"I don't have a lot of sympathy for America anymore."

You've probably been saying that for decades when a democrat loses.

I don't have any real expectations from most Americans.

Never did

But I'll always have sympathy....for you, for Zed, and even for folks like Boaz.

People don't have to earn sympathy from me. It's not conditional.

Who changes your diapers for you?

#23 | Posted by LegallyYourDead at 2025-01-29 02:13 PM

I don't think that. I was talking to and about Zed. Not "libs".

Umm ok you do know you are on the internets and anyone can see and respond to your posts right?

Ok. It's not like zed hasn't been right about what's ahead for all of us in Trumplandia.

He has been right about most of it so far. And this is nothing in comparison to what is coming.

And I suspect even he could not imagine some of the destruction Trumpy will bring upon us. It's only been a week and we have four years to go.

Some Americans will be negatively affected immediately. The full effects may not hit us for years.

And I don't need your sympathy. I will outlast this particular A hole as I outlasted so many in the past. Because I am a survivor. And survival is the noblest cause of Life.

#24 | Posted by donnerboy at 2025-01-29 02:19 PM

-Because I am a survivor

You survived living in the USA? Wow...how did you ever manage that? LOL

I mean...if you had served in the military and endured some real nasty ---- while serving your country.....that's one thing.

but surviving a president in your cushy life? makes you look like a ----- who's never sacrificed anything but pretends he did.

You said you were in the military.........I've always taken you at your word.

But claiming to "survive" a president casts a shadow on that claim.

"And I don't need your sympathy."

And I don't need your permission. Again, not conditional.

#25 | Posted by eberly at 2025-01-29 02:27 PM

15 cases soon to be zero.

#26 | Posted by reinheitsgebot at 2025-01-29 02:35 PM

You survived living in the USA? Wow...how did you ever manage that? LOL

Let's see I got my vaccines, wore a mask, and social distanced. I took classes from home. And I stayed away from maga maroons.

A million other Americans were not so "lucky" did not survive.

But as a former Marine and a Watcher on the Wall I did things I'd rather not talk about to survive.

And much of what I have done to survive was not done in America.

As for surviving Trumpy. So far I have survived him. When he took office the first time I was forced retire because he had practically destroyed the morale in my agency. I could no longer tolerate the hostile working environment and destruction of morale he had created.

I have said this before and I will probably say it again ... while I really did not want to but retiring from the federal government when I did was probably the smartest thing I have ever done.

#25 | POSTED BY EBERLY

You really should save it for the people who need it and the ones whose lives Trumpy destroys. They will need it way more than me.

But hey. You do you.

#29 | Posted by donnerboy at 2025-01-29 02:49 PM

15 cases soon to be zero.

It will disappear in April when the heat comes in.

#30 | Posted by REDIAL at 2025-01-29 02:59 PM

The only way politics should come into this is how it caused the degradation of our public health institutions to the point that this was able to happen.

If this isn't dealt with and squashed, it's a harbinger of what is to come as we slip to failed state status.
